Ohio will take on Wyoming during the 2022 Arizona Bowl for what's expected to be an interesting contest between two above-average mid-major teams. Ohio comes in as a slight favorite for the game in Tuscon, Arizona.
Ohio comes into this one after an impressive 9-4 showing. They lost in the MAC Championship Game to Toledo, 17-7. Throughout the year, they had wins over Northwestern, Florida Atlantic, Bowling Green, and other impressive mid-major programs.
Wyoming had an interesting season but was still Bowl eligible due to their 7-5 record. The Mountain West is a tough conference and they managed to finish second in the Mountain side of it. Wyoming had wins over New Mexico, Air Force, Colorado State, and other above-average in-conference teams.
Our college football predictions here is going to be one we need to think about. Both teams play a different brand of football and have a chance of winning this game.

As we can see from the Ohio vs. Wyoming odds, oddsmakers are expecting that this is going to be a close and low-scoring contest. I would have to say that I agree with them on this one.
Neither offense has necessarily done much this season and while I haven't been too impressed with what they've done defensively, the defenses should be the focus in this game.
I have my worries about Ohio here without Kurtis Rourke. Rourke was one of the country's best QBs but was injured in the team's win against Ball State in November. Ohio now turns to CJ Harris, who threw for 163 yards, one touchdown, and completed only 17 of 31 passes in the MAC Championship Game.
Wyoming relies heavily on its running game. However, this game could be a bit different because Ohio has one of the worst secondaries in college football.
While these teams won't have as many players drafted in the 2023 NFL Draft, there will still be opt-outs from both sides.
Ohio vs. Wyoming Prediction
This one is going to be interesting and I'm unsure about which team is going to win this game. Because of that, my prediction is going to be taking the under.
I typically play overs when I take totals, but this game is screaming under to me. Both offenses have struggled and without Rourke, I expect Ohio to also struggle offensively.
