The last time a college football athlete won back-to-back Heisman awards was 1974 and 1975.
It was Archie Griffin, the Ohio State Buckeyes' quarterback. Griffin has been the only player in history to win back-to-back trophies.
But Caleb Williams of USC is making a case to be the next.

The Pac-12 With Three Favorites!
Nobody expected the Pac-12 to be as elite this season as it has been. The top three spots in the Heisman race belong to Pac-12 quarterbacks. Caleb Williams just had another monster day against the Colorado Buffaloes. He's now thrown for over 1,600 yards with 21 touchdowns and just one interception. His QBR of 88.6 is the fifth-best in the nation. Second on the list is Michael Penix Jr. He's added nearly 2,000 yards passing with 16 touchdowns and two interceptions. His QBR is even higher than Williams' at 91.6. Then there's Bo Nix, who has thrown for 1,459 yards and 15 touchdowns for Oregon. His QBR of 81.6 is the 16th best in the nation. He's also got Oregon rolling to start the season. The Pac-12 quarterbacks are having seasons we'll never forget.
Feel Bad For Jayden Daniels (+3500) (Bet $100 to collect $3600)
Jayden Daniels and the LSU offense might be the best in the nation. But LSU's defense has played so poorly that Daniels will be overlooked. Daniels has thrown for 1,710 yards with 16 touchdowns and two interceptions. He's also got a QBR of 86.1, 9th best in the nation. Daniels has the numbers that the favorites have. It's just that LSU already has two losses because the secondary is super-depleted. He'll be overlooked and won't win the award, but know he's balling out like the rest.
Pac-12 Player: Cam Ward (+3500) (Bet $100 to collect $3600)
Cam Ward has carried Washington State to a 4-0 start to begin the season. Ward and Washington State didn't play last weekend. But he's still getting recognition. Ward has thrown 13 touchdowns and no interceptions while holding an 86.4 QBR. That's good for 8th in the nation. Ward will have opportunities against other Pac-12 quarterbacks to showcase why he belongs in the race. You can get him at +3500, but once Washington State starts winning more, that won't be the case any longer.
