Eli Manning Primed To Move Into Top 10 Of Unfortunate Passing Record
Eli Manning looks likely to break into another top 10 leaderboard this season. Sadly for the Giants signal-caller it's bad news, with Manning set to move to 7th in the all-time interception leaders.
Eli can save himself from this embrassment however, all he needs to do is avoid throwing his career average of 16 interceptions this season.
With a poor offensive line, no Odell Beckham Jr and an ever-aging arm, it doesn't look good for the 2-time Super Bowl champion. Ironically one thing that may save him from this humbling record would be the indignity of being benched in favor of rookie Daniel Jones.
Eli currently sits 14th in the all-time INT leaderboard. One eagled-eyed Redditor noted that 9 more interceptions would see him enter the top 10, 12 more would see him tied with older brother Peyton, with 16, his career average seeing him reach 7th.
Fingers crossed that this won't be a record-breaking season for Eli and that we can remember him for his achievements and not his fall from grace.
