NFL Odds: Sunday’s Line Moving Toward Rams Following Week 1 Win
Before Last Sunday’s/Monday’s Week 1 games were played, sportsbooks seemed to be expecting the Philadelphia Eagles to take care of business against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 2.
The Eagles were a 4.5-point favorite, hosting the Rams without a crowd, and expected to handle a bad Washington team to open the season.
Then, the Eagles and Carson Wentz forgot how to play football without turning the ball over, the Rams’ defense dominated the Cowboys and everything changed.
The Week 2 matchup between the Rams and Eagles is now a pick’em or 1-point line at most sportsbooks, the biggest line movement across the NFL ahead of this Sunday.
Each team’s moneyline odds are also almost identical, just a week later. The Rams’ best odds of -104 imply a 51% chance they move to 2-0. At -105, the Eagles are given a 51.2% shot at getting their first win.
Out of the 11 sportsbooks on the OddsChecker grid, seven have the same moneyline odds for both the Eagles and Rams, three have the Rams favored and just one favors the Eagles.
