The last time the Kansas City Chiefs and Las Vegas Raiders met, it ended with the Raiders handing the Chiefs their only loss of the season, 40-32. Now, just a few weeks later on Sunday Night Football, Kansas City is looking to avenge that loss.

Despite the Raiders putting up 40 points on the Chiefs and coming out on top, oddsmakers aren’t convinced in their ability to hang with the defending champs. As of Saturday, the Chiefs are favored by more than a touchdown over Las Vegas.

Las Vegas Raiders vs. Kansas City Chiefs Betting Breakdown

In the last year, the Kansas City Chiefs have lost exactly one game, and it came in Week 5 this season against the Raiders.

In that game, LV quarterback Derek Carr torched the Chiefs for 347 yards and three touchdowns. Josh Jacobs rushed for 77 yards and two scores while Henry Ruggs III had the best game of his young career.

On the other side, Patrick Mahomes threw for 340 yards, but only one score and added an interception.

Still, despite the fact that the Raiders won last time, the Chiefs are 8-point favorites this week and sit at -345 on the moneyline for Sunday Night Football.

Those -345 odds give them an eye-popping 77.5% chance of beating the 6-3 Raiders, and an overwhelming 88.24% of all moneyline wagers have been placed on the Chiefs.

Meanwhile, Las Vegas comes into this week at +320, making their odds indicative of a 23.8% shot of victory. The last time the Raiders beat the Chiefs twice in a season was 2012, when Patrick Mahomes was a junior at Whitehouse High School.
