Super Bowl Odds: Playoff Picture Latest & NFL Playoff Odds

Week 16 of the NFL season is in the books and we have 7 teams who have already locked in their postseason status. Week 17 is just around the corner with a number of teams attempted to force their way into the playoff picture.

NFL Playoff Picture

In the AFC we've seen three teams lock in their playoff spots. The Chiefs, Bills and Steelers have won their respective divisons, with the Chiefs locking in the bye. No team from the AFC South has won the divison yet with both the Titans and Colts sat on 10-5 records, with Tennessee winning on tie-breakers.

In Week 17 both AFC South teams in contention would expect to win their games. The Titans travel to face Houston, and the Colts welcome the Jaguars. The Colts can only win the division if the Titans fail to find victory.

There are now 7 teams entering the playoffs, with 8 currently in contention. The three divison winners are locked in, as will be the winner of the AFC South, but the remaining 3 spots will be filled by 3 of the Titans (@ Texans), Dolphins (@ Bills), Ravens (@ Bengals), Browns (vs. Steelers) and Colts (vs. Jaguars). As things currently stand it is the Colts who would miss out.

In the NFC we have four teams who have already secured a playoff berth. The Packers, Saints and Seahawks have clinched their divisions, with the Buccaneers also locked in to the playoffs due to their record. No team has clinched the first-round bye yet, but the Packers will earn it if they win in Chicago against the Bears, or the Seahawks fail to overcome the 49ers.

The NFC East is currently undecided, with the Washington Football Team currently in the driving seat on 6-9, ahead of the Cowboys (6-9) on tiebreakers and one win ahead of the Giants on 5-10, who can still make it in.

The Arizona Cardinals are another team who are currently on the outside looking in but can clinch a playoff berth with a win, or a tie if the Bears lost to the Packers.
