The first of this weekend's NFL Divisional Round games sees Aaron Rodgers welcome the LA Rams to Lambeau Field. We decided to look into the betting data and see what bettors are wagering their money on.
Here's what the betting data says.
The Packers were the #1 seed in the NFC and enter this game having enjoyed a week's rest, courtesy of the bye-week. The Rams beat the Seahawks last weekend, with their defense having a strong showing. It looked like Aaron Donald may be injured but Rams HC Sean McVay has said that Donald "will be ready" for the game against the Packers. Even with the threat of Aaron Donald it seems like most bettors are backing Green Bay. A huge 73.1% of all moneyline bets are on Matt LeFleur's team to reach the Conference Championship game.
NFL Divisional Round: Los Angeles Rams vs. Green Bay Packers Spread Odds
Things look better for the Rams when it comes to the spread, with the Rams accounting for the 52.8% of all bets on the spread, which currently sits at +6.5. After a fearsome display against the Seahawks in which the Rams passrush caused problems all day, there is no doubt that bettors believe that the Rams will be able to cause the Packers issues too.
NFL Divisional Round: Los Angeles Rams vs. Green Bay Packers Total Points Odds
With the line sitting at 45.5 we've seen a large amount of action on the under. With 62% of bets wagering that we'll see the total points at 45 or less. Just as with the spread, this feels like a vote of confidence in the quality of the Rams' defense, who looked so dominant last weekend.
