Aaron Rodgers Next Team: Odds Say Rodgers Likely to Stay With Packers
The end of April is always dominated by the NFL Draft. Teams start to rebuild as they draft their superstars of the future and build for their Super Bowl quest. But, the 2021 NFL Draft was a little different.
It was still full of hype and shocking turns, but it was mainly dominated by one questions. Where will Aaron Rodgers be playing football next season?
That’s because right before Round 1 of the 2021 NFL Draft, ESPN’ Adam Schefter reported that Rodgers has told members of the Packers organization that he would not be returning to play for the team next season and wanted them to explore trade possibilities.

Aaron Rodgers Next Team – Betting Odds
As is thankfully the case with almost everything in the sports betting world, sportsbooks have started to price up where Aaron Rodgers will play next season. Predictably, the Green Bay Packers are the favorite to retain Rodgers’ services at -125, according to our friends at DraftKings.
Packers General Manager Brian Gutenkunst announced this weekend that he was aware of Rodgers’ wishes but had no intention of granting the Packers QB his wish of playing elsewhere. So, naturally, the Packers are the favorites with implied probability of 55.6% Rodgers stays in Green Bay.
From there, it gets a little dicey when talking Aaron Rodgers’ next team.
The next most likely outcome for Aaron Rodgers’ next team is the Denver Broncos, sitting at -200. Even more interesting is what happened to the Broncos Super Bowl odds following this information going public. The Denver Broncos started last Thursday with -6600 odds to win the Super Bowl next season. And, by the time the draft got underway, those odds had been slashed to -1400.
There are a lot of reasons why Aaron Rodgers to the Denver Broncos has picked up steam. First, they need a QB to help an otherwise talented roster. And second, the team completely passed on Justin Fields and Mac Jones during the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft.
The Broncos are followed by the Las Vegas Raiders (+500) and the New Orleans Saints (+900) to end up as Aaron Rodgers’ next team.
