Deshaun Watson Trade Rumors and Odds: Are the Dolphins Close to Striking a Deal?

For months, the NFL and its fans have wondered where DeShaun Watson will be playing football after an offseason full of trade requests, rumors, and allegations against the 26-year-old Quarterback.

We may finally have some movement on the Deshaun Watson front. According to John McClain of the Houston Chronicle, the Texans may look to move DeShaun Watson this week to Miami Dolphins.

Before the season started, the Houston Texans were the favorites to keep him at +250 but the Miami Dolphins, who at the time were at +700 still seem like a logical fit with Tua Tagovailoa struggling at the position and their season hanging on by a thread at 1-5.

Last year, in 16 games with Houston, Watson has a career season throwing for 4823 yards, 33 touchdowns, seven interceptions, an 8.9 yards per attempt, and a 112.4 rating. When on the field, he is one of the five to seven best quarterbacks in the game.

In case you forgot just what he could do, here he is carving up the Miami Dolphins from back in 2018:

The question just now becomes when will he be able to be on the field? Watson has 22 allegations of sexual assault against him and he has yet to be active for a game this year. The NFL Trade Deadline is Tuesday, Nov 2, 2021. The two teams would have 13 days to figure out a trade for the young quarterback.
