Arizona has to be up top as they are the only one-loss team remaining. They dominated against the San Francisco 49ers and it doesn't seem to matter that they were without their QB. Tennessee impressed with a big win over the Los Angeles Rams to prove their worth which is why they find themselves in the top three.

The Buffalo Bills took a dive down the rankings with a loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars in a game where Josh Allen did not look good. They still find themselves in the contender conversation but it was a brutal week for Buffalo.

The Baltimore Ravens are on the top of the playoff teams list. They dominated the Los Angeles Chargers just a few weeks ago and are likely in the fringe contender category. Everyone else on this list is a pretty good team. The Chiefs are likely the only other team in this list who can launch themselves back into contender status. New England has been playing much better football lately but still has some work to do before they move up any higher on this list and the Cincinnati Bengals took a big hit the last two weeks.

All three of these teams are fringe playoff teams. The Raiders have the best record of the bunch but with all they've dealt with this year, I'm not sure they end up making it in the end. Indianapolis is under .500 still but the offense is finally coming around so I can't count them out just yet in 2021.

I know the Atlanta Falcons are a .500 team right now and technically in a playoff spot but they're not very good. This team is incredibly inconsistent and has wins over the Giants, Jets, Dolphins, and Saints. This team is the definition of a pretender. As for the rest of the group, you have some underachievers like the Seahawks, Vikings, and 49ers and some expected faces like the Giants and Bears. It's not a pretty bunch but it could be a lot worse.

There's no sugar-coating it. These five teams are just flat-out bad. Whether it's poor quarterback play, bad coaching, the inability to stop anyone, or everything in between these teams have all had it. I do have to credit Jacksonville who moves up to 27th after an impressive win over the Buffalo Bills. Sure, the offense still wasn't good but their defense really held their own on Sunday.

The Texans and Lions are in a category of their own. Houston has the worst offense in football and Detroit isn't far behind at 30th while defensively, Houston is also last while Detroit is 30th in the NFL. I know Houston has a win but they are still somehow worse than Detroit. At least the Lions have at times been competitive, outside of Week 1 the Texans have been a disaster.
