NFL MVP Race: 30.8% of NFL MVP Bets on Dak Prescott Following Week 10

The NFL MVP race is heating up. But, unlike past years, it isn’t a case of a bunch of players performing well and trading places on the NFL MVP odds board. Instead, this year’s NFL MVP race has been highlighted by poor performances swinging the market.

For a while. Patrick Mahomes was leading the NFL MVP race to start the NFL season. Then, Mahomes started playing poorly and the Chiefs started losing games and he quickly saw his name fall down the list.

Kyler Murray was a popular pick at one point, then he got hurt. Coming into Week 10 of the NFL season, Lamar Jackson, Tom Brady and Matthew Stafford were hot names in the NFL MVP Race. But, all three of them lost, to bad teams, so the NFL MVP market has shifted elsewhere.

Bills QB Josh Allen is still the favorite to win NFL MVP. But, according to the latest odds for this year’s NFL MVP Race, Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott is the most popular pic among bettors since Week 10 came to a close.

NFL MVP Race – NFL MVP Odds

As I mentioned above, Bills QB Josh Allen is the current leader in the clubhouse when it comes to the NFL MVP race. After Week 10, Allen’s MVP odds sit at +375. But, make sure you shop for the best price because his MVP odds are as short as +200 in some places.

Following Allen is Tom Brady, who is having maybe the best year of his career at the ripe age of 44. Brady’s odds currently sit at +400 in the NFL MVP race, but he looked terrible in this past week’s loss to Washington, throwing for two INTs.

That brings us to this week’s most popular man in the NFL MVP race. Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott, who is a lock to win Comeback Player of the Year, is also the third favorite to win NFL MVP. Right now, Prescott’s odds are +900 to win the award.

Meanwhile, Matthew Stafford (+900) and Aaron Rodgers (+1100) round out the top 5 in the current NFL MVP race.

NFL MVP Race – NFL MVP Betting

Not only is Dak Prescott the third favorite to the NFL MVP, but, since the end of Week 10 in the NFL, he’s also the most popular pick among the betting public.

Since Monday, Prescott has accounted for 30.77% of all bets in the NFL MVP race. At +900, that’s a pretty solid payout for a guy having as good of a season as Prescott.

Behind Prescott in popularity when it comes to the NFL MVP race is the favorite, Josh Allen, with 23.08% of bets to win MVP since the close of Week 10.

Brady is the third-most-popular pick in that time with 15.38% of bets backing him in the NFL MVP race. Jalen Hurts is fourth with 7.69% of bettors picking the Eagles starting QB.
