NFL Injuries Round-Up: Week 12 Final Injury Report From Around the League

Week 12 of the NFL season is almost upon us, and in this space, we list the various injuries that were reported on Friday, November 28.

Tennessee Titans vs New England Patriots Current Line: Patriots -7

Injuries are piling up for the current top seed in the AFC, and the biggest name to join the Tennessee Titans’ list has to be wide receiver A.J. Brown (chest). Brown was absent all week and didn’t practice with the team. A.J. Brown joins Julio Jones (IR) and Derrick Henry (out for season) on the sidelines. Others on the list for Tennessee include running back Jeremy McNichols (concussion), linebacker David Long (hamstring), linebacker Rashaan Evans (ankle), and offensive guard Nate Davis (concussion) – all of which are out.

New England’s injury report includes nine players listed as questionable, but all nine were limited participants during practice this week. These include running back Rhamondre Stevenson (knee), linebacker Dont’a Hightower (ankle), and running back Damien Harris (neck) amongst several others. It’s possible some if not most will feature this Sunday.

New York Jets vs Houston Texans Current Line: Texans -2.5

Rookie quarterback Zach Wilson is expected to return to the Jets lineup this week, but Joe Flacco and Mike White were placed on the Covid-19 list. Wide receiver Corey Davis (groin) is listed as questionable but coach Robert Saleh indicated he expects Davis to play on Sunday. Elsewhere, defensive lineman Folorunso Fatukasi (foot), defensive end Shaq Lawson (wrist), linebacker C.J. Mosley (shoulder), defensive lineman John Franklin-Myers (hip), and DL Nathan Shepherd (elbow) are also questionable.

The Texans finally have Tyrod Taylor back as the offensive pivot, and his impact was felt last week in a stunning upset win over the Tennessee Titans. Wide receivers Nico Collins (hip) and Davison Davis (illness) are listed as questionable against the New York Jets, along with defensive lineman Jonathan Greenard (foot) and defensive back Lonnie Johnson Jr. (illness).

Philadelphia Eagles vs New York Giants Current Line: Eagles -3.5

Cornerback Darius Slay cleared concussion protocol and will play this week against the Giants. Running back Jordan Howard (knee) is out while cornerback Tray Gowan (quad) is listed as questionable.

The Giants sacked offensive coordinator Jason Garrett, opening the door to Freddie Kitchens to take over the reins. Kitchens will be without the services of wide receiver Sterling Shepard (quad), and tight end Kaden Smith (knee). Tight end Kyle Rudolph (ankle) and wide receiver Kadarius Toney (quad) are doubtful while running back Saquon Barkley (ankle) and wide receiver John Ross (quad) are questionable.

Wide receiver Antonio Brown (ankle) is set to miss another game this week. Guard Ali Marpet (abdomen) is doubtful and defensive lineman Vita Vea (knee), and linebacker Devin White (quadriceps) are questionable.

The Colts have listed linebacker Darius Leonard (ankle) and offensive lineman Quenton Nelson (ankle) as questionable.

Atlanta Falcons vs Jacksonville Jaguars Current Line: Falcons -2

The Falcons have listed running back Cordarrelle Patterson and linebacker Deion Jones (shoulder) as questionable. Defensive lineman Jonathan Ballard (ankle) and defensive back Kendall Sheffield (hamstring) are out.

The Jaguars will be without the services of cornerback Shaquill Griffin (concussion), but otherwise, coach Urban Meyer looks to have his full complement of players on hand.

Carolina Panthers vs Miami Dolphins Current Line: Panthers -2

Carolina’s injury report has only guard John Miller listed as doubtful, meaning coach Matt Rhule is likely to have his pick of the Panthers roster.

Miami will be without defensive back Elijah Campbell (toe/knee), tight end Adam Shaheen (knee), and cornerback Trill Williams (hamstring). Safety Brandon Jones (ankle/elbow) is listed as questionable.

Pittsburgh Steelers vs Cincinnati Bengals Current Line: Bengals: -3.5

Steelers look to welcome back T.J. Watt this weekend, but they have ruled out tight end Eric Ebron (knee), offensive lineman J.C. Hassenauer (pectoral). Cornerback Joe Haden (foot) is listed as questionable.

Cincinnati’s injury report is sparse this week with just wide receiver Auden Tate (thigh) listed as doubtful.

Los Angeles Chargers vs Denver Broncos Current Line: Chargers -2.5

The Chargers will be playing without safety Alohi Gilman (quad) and cornerback Asante Samuel Jr. (concussion). Guard Matt Feiler (ankle) and defensive back Trey Marshall (ankle, hip) are listed as questionable.

The Broncos continue to be without linebacker Bradley Chubb (ankle) who is on the team’s injured reserve list. Those listed as doubtful are safety Kareem Jackson (neck) and tackle Bobby Massie (ankle). Those listed as questionable are running back Mike Boone (hip), defensive end Shelby Harris (ankle), and wide receiver Tyrie Cleveland (hamstring).

Minnesota Vikings vs San Francisco 49ers Current Line: Niners -3

The Vikings are coming off a big upset over the Green Bay Packers, and they’ll be looking to keep the momentum going. Guard Wyatt Davis (ankle) is out while cornerback Bashaud Breeland (groin) is listed as questionable.

San Francisco has ruled out running back JaMycal Hasty (ankle) and defensive lineman Maurice Hurst (calf) for the Niners’ Week 12 tilt against the Vikings. Running back Elijah Mitchell (rib/finger) is listed as doubtful.

The Rams have noted two players as questionable this week: cornerback Dont’e Deayon (thigh) and wide receiver Ben Skowronek.

Quarterback Aaron Rodgers has been dealing with a toe injury since last week. Rodgers played in Green Bay’s loss to Minnesota but didn’t practice all week. He’s expected to start this Sunday against the Rams. Rodgers could be without his prized running back Aaron Jones, who is listed as questionable. Joining Jones in the questionable group are wide receiver Allen Lazard (shoulder), and linebacker Rahsan Gary (elbow). Tackle David Bakhtiari (knee), wide receiver Malik Taylor (abdomen), and cornerback Kevin King (hip) are out.

Cleveland Browns vs Baltimore Ravens Current Line: Ravens -3.5

Quarterback Baker Mayfield is the definition of the walking wounded with a groin, foot, and shoulder injury but he’s expected to play in Sunday Night Football against the Ravens. Wide receiver Donovan Peoples-Jones (groin) and cornerback Troy Hill (neck) are on the questionable list listed while wide receiver Anthony Schwartz (concussion) has been ruled out.

The Ravens have ruled out wide receiver Miles Boykin (finger) and tackle Cedric Ogbuehi (thigh). Cornerback Anthony Averett (thigh), wide receiver Marquise Brown (thigh), tackle Patrick Mekari (ankle), fullback Patrick Ricard (hip, foot), cornerback Jimmy Smith (neck), cornerback Chris Westry (thigh), defensive tackle Brandon Williams (shoulder), and cornerback Tavon Young (foot, knee) join Campbell are all listed as questionable.
