Twitter Roasts Ben Roethlisberger After Brutal First Half

Turn out the lights, the party's over. The Pittsburgh Steelers have been winning in spite of Ben Roethlisberger essentially since the start of the 2020 season. He ended up going 12-3 as a starter last year but the signs were there for the decline.

Well this year, at age 39 it appears the end is upon us. It was an absolutely brutal first half for Ben and it ended with this ugly interception that was returned for a touchdown.

That was his second pick of the game for Roethlisberger as he ended the first half with under 100 passing yards and two picks on the afternoon. Naturally, as a result, Twitter came to life to get in on the fun at the expense of Big Ben.

As it stands now, the Bengals are blowing out the Steelers 31-3 early in the third quarter. All good things must come to an end, for Pittsburgh, it looks like their playoff hopes are gone and the search for the next QB is on.
