The New Orleans Saints will be without two quarterbacks for tonight’s game against the Dolphins on Monday Night Football. But it looks as though the public isn’t scared about betting on the Saints to perform, specifically Alvin Kamara.

On the other hand, despite the public expecting big things from Kamara, more people are on the Dolphins to cover the small spread. Below are the top five most popular bets and prop bets for Monday Night Football.

Dolphins -3

Dolphins -369%67%

The Dolphins have won five straight games and are now 7-7 on the season. It’s not that the Dolphins have been amazing recently. It’s that they’ve played against some really poor competition including two games against the Jets, another game against the Panthers, and a game against the Giants.

However, many view the Saints as another easy test for the Dolphins, even on the road, with former Notre Dame quarterback Ian Book getting his first opportunity to start in an NFL game. Personally, I like the Saints, at home, on Monday Night Football. But there are plenty more people who like the Dolphins tonight.

Over 40.5

BetBets%Handle%
Over 40.558%24%

The public loves to bet the over, especially on primetime games. 58 percent of the bets like the over 40.5, however, the handle is only 24 percent. This means that while there are more bets on the over, the under has more money being bet on it. Despite 58 percent of tickets on the over, the sportsbooks would love to see them over hit in this game.

Alvin Kamara to score 1st Touchdown (+550)

Who else is going to have success on offense other than Alvin Kamara for the Saints? Coming into this game, the consensus is that Ian Book will struggle to throw the ball and that the Saints will rely heavily on their biggest playmaker in Kamara. Of course, this whole bet is a lottery bet, but if the Saints get ahead first, there is a good chance it’s Kamara finding his way into the endzone.

Alvin Kamara to score 2 or more touchdowns (+400)

Week by week, the most bet props are ones that are longshots. Kamara to score two touchdowns is currently +400, meaning 4-to-1 odds. If the Saints’ offense can figure things out on offense, again, Kamara is likely the guy that will help the Saints’ success. Or everyone will be unhappy when Ian Book performs at a high rate and shows the ability to lead an offense throughout the game. And that could very well happen too.

Alvin Kamara to score anytime touchdown (-115)

Another Kamara prop! The public loves Kamara. But remember, the Saints didn’t score a single touchdown last week against the Buccaneers. This isn’t a “lock.” But again, if the Saints do find their way into the endzone, there’s a great chance it’s Kamara, who is projected to rush and receive around 80 yards give or take in this game.
