Russell Wilson Next Team Odds: Will Wilson Actually Leave Seattle?

It's always fun speculating. That's our job in the media. It's clear that Russell Wilson isn't exactly happy in Seattle. The Seahawks missed the playoffs this season and really haven't been able to block for him very well in recent years.

Wilson was sacked 33 times this year and didn't even play every game in the regular season. Wilson actually played just 14 games and still threw for over 3,000 yards while averaging 222.4 yards passing per game along with 25 touchdowns and just six interceptions.

Wherever Wilson goes, that team will be a contending team for the Super Bowl. But if he's going anywhere, he's going to make sure that the offensive line is going to be able to block for him. Wilson is a terrific scrambler and a great rusher, but if he's able to throw inside the pocket more often, he'd be impossible to stop.

Seahawks (-400) (Bet $400 to win $100)

This is all fun and games. Do we really think Wilson is going to pack his bags and leave the team that he brought to multiple Super Bowls?

Wilson has been denying that he's asked for a trade from Seattle, but rumors started to spill out that he has four teams he was willing to be traded to the last offseason.

It seems like Wilson hasn't demanded a trade, but he likely did initiate talks and promote the fact that he would like to look at moving from Seattle.

In an earlier press conference, Wilson acknowledged that he wants to be in Seattle and wants to win multiple Super Bowls for the franchise. In Wilson's defense, the defense for Seattle has not lived up to expectations recently. But the reality is, Seattle isn't going to move Wilson unless he demands it. Wilson just isn't going to be that guy.

Steelers (+450) (Bet $100 to win $450)

Imagine going cross-country and playing for the Steelers. With Ben Roethlisberger retired, the Steelers need a new quarterback. Mason Rudolph likely isn't the answer either. So the Steelers will do whatever it takes to land a stud quarterback like Wilson.

The offensive line used to be dominant, but this year, things were a bit different for the Steelers. Things were really different in every area for the team. But I don't think the Steelers want to rebuild. They'd rather get better and build a championship core. To do that, adding Wilson would be ideal.

Eagles (+500) (Bet $100 to win $500)

At this point, I think the Eagles are set with Jalen Hurts under center. Ultimately, he wasn't the greatest quarterback for the Eagles, but the offense really did a solid job and the team is finally adapting to Hurts' strengths.

If the Eagles switch gears now and take Wilson over Hurts, the foundation would just be completely different. The playbook would change as well.

The Eagles have an amazing offensive line and I'm sure Wilson would love to play with that line, but ultimately, the Eagles are committed to playing with Hurts.
