Super Bowl Odds: Browns Receive Second Most Bets Since Deshaun Watson Trade

It was a big week in the NFL with some massive trades. One of those deals was Cleveland acquiring Deshaun Watson from the Houston Texans. The Browns clearly upgraded at the position and their odds were impacted as result.

Cleveland went from +4000 to +1600 after the deal and even with Watson's pending suspension, many think that this team is a Super Bowl contender.

It makes sense, the last time we saw Deshaun Watson he was putting up near MVP numbers. He had a 70.2 completion percentage with 4,823 yards 33 touchdowns and a 112.4 rating. Watson led the NFL in passing yards and yards per attempt with 8.9. Even on a bad Texans team, he put up insane numbers.

Cleveland obviously just traded for Amari Cooper, has a great offensive line, and an elite run game. It's the best spot that Watson has been in through his entire career.

Bettors agree, and over the past week, we've seen the Browns receive the second most bets to win Super Bowl LVII. Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have received 24.44% with Cleveland at 9.52%.

Clearly, there is a massive difference there but still, when looking at all 32 teams in the league, at least since the trade Super Bowl bettors have begun to get those tickets in. Here's a look at the Super Bowl odds.
