2022 NFL Draft Odds: Race to Be the First Wide Receiver Selected Heats Up As Garrett Wilson Falls
After the 2022 NFL Combine, Garrett Wilson was the clear favorite to become the first wide receiver off the board in April’s draft. However, in recent days Wilson’s odds have continued to shrink.

First WR Drafted Odds
Wilson’s odds peaked at -135, or an implied 57.4% chance to be the first wide receiver off the board. Wilson is now down to +110, or an implied 47.6% chance. He’s still the favorite, but the distance between him and Drake London is shrinking.
After not running at the Combine due to his fractured ankle, London’s odds fell all the way down to +175, or an implied 36.4% chance to be the first wide receiver off the board. Now, London has climbed back up to +140, or an implied 41.7% chance. He’s right on Wilson’s tail.
No other wide receiver is considered a serious threat to the two at the top. However, it is worth mentioning that Jameson Williams and Treylon Burks are given +700 and +800 odds respectively. That’s an implied 12.5% chance for Williams and an 11.1% chance for Burks.
Without knowing London’s athletic testing numbers, it’s easy to see why Wilson is wide receiver 1 in this draft class. However, the closer we get to London’s personal Pro Day, the tighter the odds get. That likely means oddsmakers are expecting a good day for London, which would mean Wilson is losing his grip on the top spot.
