The Lions are currently the favorites to select Malik Willis at +250, or an implied 28.6% chance. However, the favorite to be selected by the Lions is Travon Walker at the same +250 odds. So, which is right? Well, oddsmakers don’t know right now.

That makes the rest of the draft that much trickier. Travon Walker has at least a 20% chance to be selected anywhere from the second pick to the fourth pick. Meanwhile, Malik Willis is given at least a 20% chance to either be a Lion, a Panther, or a Steeler.

What’s interesting here is that oddsmakers don’t expect the Lions to target any other high-profile quarterback. For example, they’re only given +3300 odds, or an implied 2.9% chance to select Kenny Pickett. So, oddsmakers clearly believe that the Lions have zeroed in on Willis if they do go QB. What the Lions do at 2 can and likely will shape the NFL Draft. So, will it be Willis or Walker?
