2022 NFL Draft Treylon Burks Draft Position Odds: Where Will Treylon Burks be Drafted?
2022 NFL Draft Treylon Burks Draft Position Odds: Where Will Treylon Burks be Drafted?
Treylon Burks' draft position odds are some of the most up-in-the-air odds we'll see at the 2022 NFL Draft. That's because, just a few weeks prior to the draft, no one really knows where we'll see Burks go.
According to NFL mock drafts, Burks could end up anywhere from the top 10 to the second round. That's right, Treylon Burks' draft projection is one of the most volatile in the entire league and could depend on whether or not a team wants to take a risk on him.
On the one hand, Burks is a physical specimen, possessing the size, hands and ability to high-point the ball needed at the next level.
On the other hand, he doesn't have the route running or physicality needed in the NFL. Not to mention, there are questions about his weight and how easy it will be for him to maintain that weight.
So, where will Treylon Burks be drafted in the 2022 NFL Draft? In order to find out, let's take a look at his draft position odds according to our friends at DraftKings.

Treylon Burks Draft Position Odds
Draft Position | Odds | Implied Chance |
---|---|---|
Over 23.5 | -120 | 54.5% |
Under 23.5 | -110 | 52.4% |
As you can see, pick No. 23 is where DraftKings is setting the line for Tryelon Burks' draft position odds. As of right now, the Arizona Cardinals own that pick, but that could change as we get closer to the draft or as teams make moves during the NFL Draft.
As for Arizona, picking a WR makes some sense. DeAndre Hopkins isn't getting any younger and they just re-signed AJ Green to line up across from him on the outside. Green had a little success in AZ last season, ut Burks would be a clear upgrade at this point in Green's career.
Kyler Murray needs weapons to help him if the Cardinals are going to compete in that brutal NFC West division, and Burks could provide just that.
Here's the thing. As I mentioned earlier, Burks is being mocked much higher than the 23rd spot in some mock drafts. As a matter of fact, a popular landing place for Burks has been the New York Jets, who own the No. 4 and No. 10 picks.
No. 4 is too high for Burks, but I'm not entirely sure No. 10 is out of the picture. Teams like the Jets, Packers, Eagles, Saints and Commanders all need WRs and draft before pick No. 23. If you ask me, betting on Treylon Burks' draft position to be under 23.5 seems like a lock.
