2022 NFL Draft Number 4 Overall Pick Odds: Kayvon Thibodeaux is the Heavy Favorite

Last year in the NFL Draft, the New York Jets selected Zach Wilson and Alijah Vera-Tucker in the first round. For the second year in a row, they hold two picks in round one thanks to the Jamal Adams trade, and will hold picks four and 10 on night one.

When looking at the first of the two picks, there is an obvious favorite for who is to come off the board to the Jets. Here's a look at the 2022 NFL draft number 4 overall pick odds.

Kayvon Thibodeaux +175 (Bet $100 to win $175)

Kayvon Thibodeaux, who was once thought of as the number one overall pick, is the favorite to come off the board at pick four to New York. There have been some concerns with Thibodeaux and how locked in he is to football vs his brand but there is no denying his talent on the field with seven sacks and 12 tackles for a loss in 10 games for Oregon this past season.

The Jets desperately need an edge rusher to go opposite of Carl Lawson and with Robert Saleh as head coach, we know how much he prioritizes the pass rush. If Thibodeaux is on the board for the Jets here this one feels like a lock.

Ahmad Gardner +350 (Bet $100 to win $350)

The next guy listed for the Jets at pick four is Ahmad "Sauce" Gardner. Sauce is an extremely well-rounded corner prospect who did not allow a touchdown during his college career. Yes, you read that right in his college career he did not allow a single touchdown.

In free agency, the Jets added DJ Reed at corner and have guys like Bryce Hall and Brandin Echols who are young former day three picks that looked good last year but I could see the enticing level of Sauce Gardner. Knowing what we know about Joe Douglas' prioritization of the trenches and Robert Saleh's system, I'd imagine that secondary will not be in play at pick four.
