Super Bowl Odds: Every Team's Super Bowl Odds Before Training Camp

The NFL offseason is winding down and teams are looking more set for the 2022-23 season. That said, let's analyze each team’s odds of winning the 2023 Super Bowl.

32. Houston Texans (+25000) (Bet $100 to win $25000)

The Texans have finally offloaded Deshaun Watson and have moved forward with their rebuild. It’s very unlikely the Texans will even make the playoffs this season, but they’ve acquired the correct assets to move forward and slowly build a solid team in Houston again.

31. Atlanta Falcons (+15000) (Bet $100 to win $15000)

Marcus Mariota looks to be the starting QB after the Falcons traded away Matt Ryan, who had taken them to the Super Bowl previously. Mariota will likely not be a Super Bowl quarterback, he could help the Falcons recognize what weapons they will keep on offense and continue to look forward to building a future contender. Crazier things have happened in the NFL, though.

30. Detroit Lions (+15000)(Bet $100 to win $15000)

The Lions got their guys in the draft, and they retained players better than they normally would have. They had a good draft and are looking forward to what seems to be about future moves and potentially landing a QB in the next draft. It seems highly unlikely that the Lions win a solid amount of games or even try to win games.

29. Chicago Bears (+15000)(Bet $100 to win $15000)

Like many of these teams, the Bears are gearing towards youth and clearing cap for the future so they can build a contender when they feel better equipped. With that being said, the Bears aren’t the worst team in the league anymore, but definitely don’t expect the Bears to sniff the playoffs.

28. Jacksonville Jaguars (+13000)(Bet $100 to win $13000)

After a dud of a season, the Jaguars have the potential to win some games, but also won’t likely make the playoffs. The Jaguars will be looking to start building while being somewhat competitive. We’ll see a young team learn to win games, lose some tough games, and have a decent squad that could finish somewhat near the lower end of the middle of the pack.

27. Seattle Seahawks (+13000)(Bet $100 to win $13000)

The Seahawks are in the same position as most teams on the lower end of odds, as they’ve recently traded away Russell Wilson, who was their franchise QB, and let Bobby Wagner go. They didn’t completely strip their talent, but enough for them to struggle to compete, so we’ll get to see a Seahawks team struggle to string together wins this season.

26. New York Giants (+13000)(Bet $100 to win $13000)

The Giants made a change on the staff, bringing in former Bills offensive coordinator Brian Daboll who has seen success with the Bills offense. With that being said, the Giants will take a year or two to acquire talent and build a new system for themselves.

25. New York Jets (+13000)(Bet $100 to win $13000)

Similar to the last few teams, the Jets have been focused on drafting and finding their system and players moving forward so they’ll eventually, hopefully, have a team contending on a yearly basis. They had a solid draft, will develop talent, and potentially find a system that will work so next season they will be a better team than last year.

24. Carolina Panthers (+10000) (Bet $100 to win $10000)

As it sits right now, the Panthers haven’t made a move for Baker Mayfield. Health and consistency will be huge for the Panthers coming up. Sam Darnold will be the starting QB to begin the season, as he was last season, with hopefully a consistent role. The Panthers will likely miss the playoffs but they will show some competitiveness on the field.

23. Pittsburgh Steelers (+8000) (Bet $100 to win $8000)

The Big Ben era ended for the Steeler, and with that, so did consistency. With that being said, the Steelers young squad is improving and they will still have plenty of talent going into next season. It’ll be a season where they take a step back, and it’ll be good for them to add new structure and build up a new core of players.

22. Washington Commanders (+6000) (Bet $100 to win $6000)

Carson Wentz had a short stay in Indianapolis with the Colts before getting traded to the Commanders, where he’ll have an opportunity to show his value with a squad at his age. The Commanders have some weapons for Wentz and a solid defense that could push them closer to the playoffs.

21. New Orleans Saints (+5000) (Bet $100 to win $5000)

The Saints have had health struggles in past seasons but with Jameis Winston returning to the starting lineup and other key factors returning, the Saints could potentially swing themselves a near positive record.

20. Minnesota Vikings (+5000)(Bet $100 to win $5000)

The Vikings seem to have talent consistently, but never enough to make noise. They still have talent, especially on the offensive side of the ball, but not one powerful enough to carry them into the playoffs, let alone through the playoffs to the big game.

19. New England Patriots (+5000)(Bet $100 to win $5000)

We’re creeping into the dark horses of the title contenders. The Patriots might not be a title contender, but in a perfect scenario, weirder things have happened. Mac Jones will improve and the Patriots will piggyback off of an over successful season last season.

18. Las Vegas Raiders (+4000)(Bet $100 to win $4000)

The Raiders are one of the many teams to make big swings this offseason, notably picking up Davante Adams. Picking up Adams was a great move to make sure Derek Carr, who signed a long-term contract extension, has plenty of weapons now. Their division will be tough, but if the ball falls their way, they could make the playoffs this season.

17. Miami Dolphins (+4000)(Bet $100 to win $4000)

The Dolphins picked up Tyreek Hill this season to add more weapons for Tua to work with, and add more speed to an already very quick team. They are coming off of a solid, winning season where they had a good record. It’s hard to imagine this team is ready to win a Super Bowl, but the playoffs aren’t incredibly unrealistic for them.

16. Tennessee Titans (+3500) (Bet $100 to win $3500)

It’s understood that if the Titans are healthy, specifically Derrick Henry, then the Titans are a threat to take a playoff spot. Henry has the ability to take the team to the playoffs on his own. Their offense can be limited sometimes, and that leads me to believe that the Super Bowl is out of reach for this team.

15. Arizona Cardinals (+3500)(Bet $100 to win $3500)

The drama, hopefully, has surpassed the Cardinals and they know that they will retain Kyler Murray for at least this next season. Murray has been good for the Cardinals, even playing at an MVP level in some parts of this last season, but they’ve struggled to win a playoff game. Even with a breakthrough and a playoff win or two, it’s hard to imagine the Cardinals make the Super Bowl.

14. Philadelphia Eagles (+2500)(Bet $100 to win $2500)

An established identity can be very important for teams, especially young teams like the Eagles. They’re moving forward with Jalen Hurts as their quarterback with the understanding that they will continue to run their run-centric offense which showed them plenty of success last season as they made the playoffs. The Eagles pose to be a dark horse for a Super Bowl run, because as we’ve seen, a run based team that gets momentum at the right time can be scary.

13. Indianapolis Colts (+2200) (Bet $100 to win $2200)

This is a fun one for me as I’m very, very high on Jonathan Taylor and Michael Pittman Jr., but lacked confidence in Carson Wentz. It’ll be exciting to see this squad play with Matt Ryan, who will have the chance to have weapons around him and a line to protect him both on the Colts. If they are consistent throughout the year and avoid any major injuries, the Colts making the playoffs won’t be the least bit surprising.

12. Baltimore Ravens (+2200)(Bet $100 to win $2200)

Last season, the Ravens were never even given a chance. Injuries came flooding in early in the season, and some even before the season. There were signs that the solid team we’ve seen before is in there, but we never got to see the best version of health last season. Availability is the best ability, and if they can get that down, they’ll be a dark horse to win the Super Bowl this season.

11. Cincinnati Bengals (+2000)(Bet $100 to win $2000)

The Bengals and their young core made the Super Bowl just last season, and don’t seem to be taking a step back next year. Joe Burrow will get even better, his weapons at RB and WR both will take leaps as well. If Burrow’s offensive lineman can hold it down for them, I think they are locks for the playoffs and wouldn’t be surprised if they make a deep run in the playoffs. With that being said, a Super Bowl run needs to be near perfect, and I’m not sure if they’ll be dealt the same hand they were this last season.

10. Cleveland Browns (+1800)(Bet $100 to win $1800)

Despite the drama, the Browns will be able to go into the next season knowing they have improved. If Watson gets to play in this next season, they’ll be able to come into the season understanding that missing the playoffs is unacceptable. They’ve now got plenty of weapons and a solid enough defense that making the playoffs shouldn’t be an issue.

9.  Dallas Cowboys (+1800)(Bet $100 to win $1800)

The Cowboys were able to make the playoffs and lose in the playoffs simply because of time management, which can be cleaned up way easier than a dysfunctional roster. They’ve found their weapons and have built confidence in their offense, while owning one of the best defenses. They should be able to make a leap next season and have a potential playoff run.

8. Denver Broncos (+1600)(Bet $100 to win $1600)

The Denver Broncos have now loaded their team with talent, and are expected to make a run in the 2022 season. They had plenty of weapons last season, but they’ve now added Russell Wilson to deliver them the ball. Of all the teams in the top-10 on this list, the Broncos are the biggest question mark to me. They’ll have to put this new look squad together quickly if they want to show out this next season.

7. San Francisco 49ers (+1600)(Bet $100 to win $1600)

It’s not unrealistic to think the 49ers, even with Trey Lance under center, could win around 10 games this season. It’s not the regular season where I’m confident in the 49ers, it’s the playoffs. Assuming they can get in, they’re one of the better equipped teams to make a run. They’ve got a strong defense, and an offense that can do what they need to do to finish the game for the offense.

6. Los Angeles Chargers (+1400)(Bet $100 to win $1400)

Of all teams, the Chargers are my true dark horse of the season. The flashy big plays, the sneaky plays, and all of the above, I trust this offense to carry themselves deep into the postseason. With Herbert maturing and taking a leap, their offense, and now improved defense, will be tough to deal with going into next postseason.

5. Green Bay Packers (+1000) (Bet $100 to win $1000)

The Packers, whose biggest win of the offseason was retaining Aaron Rodgers, are the team I may be least confident in. A team with the back to back MVP has yet to get it done, and I feel like they’ve taken a step backwards, leaving me with no confidence that they’ll be able to get over the hump this season.

4. Los Angeles Rams (+1000)(Bet $100 to win $1000)

To me, last season’s Super Bowl matchup was further proof that everything has to go right to win a Super Bowl. They put all of their chips on the table to win, and they got matched up with a young team with less firepower in the Super Bowl. It will be a season similar to that for them, the Rams will have a great deal of talent, but putting it together at the right time will be huge for the Rams.

3. Kansas City Chiefs (+1000)(Bet $100 to win $1000)

The Chiefs had one of the greatest matchups I’ve ever seen with my eyes against the Bills last season, then lost to a young team that was scraping by each game with a chance to make a Super Bowl. The Chiefs had a weird offseason, but you can expect them to be in a similar position this season. They’ll be solid, great even, but not quite as dominant as we’ve seen them in the past.

2. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+700) (Bet $100 to win $700)

Tom Brady came out of retirement for a reason. It’s not that simple, actually, but a big one being that they’ve got unfinished business. They had a shot at making a postseason run last season, and fell short at defending the title. But Brady knows they’ll have another great shot at a championship season, so he was confident in returning. This squad is resilient and should not be underestimated.

1. Buffalo Bills (+600) (Bet $100 to win $600)

It will be a big season for the Bills, with a lot to prove for not just Josh Allen, but the entire team. They’ve figured out their wide receiver core, have Allen, an MVP candidate, and one of the best defenses in the league. They tried to cover as many needs as possible this offseason, and time will tell if that worked out, but if they can pull their entire offense together, run game included, the Bills will have a great shot at the title this next season.
