Super Bowl Odds: Chargers Become Most Backed Team to Win Super Bowl LVII

The NFL season is rapidly approaching with teams opening up training camp within the next week. One team that will have a ton of eyeballs on them is the 2022 Los Angeles Chargers.

The Chargers just missed out on the playoffs in 2021 as the Raiders beat them to clinch the final spot. With Justin Herbert going into year three and Khalil Mack added on defense, the Chargers are one of the most popular Super Bowl bets. Here are the 2022-2023 Super Bowl odds and the most popular bets this week.

Chargers Super Bowl Odds +1600 (Bet $100 to win $1600)

The Los Angeles Chargers are the most backed team to win the Super Bowl this year. They will be a very popular choice with Justin Herbert at quarterback. Last year, he went 9-8 as a starter throwing for 5,014 yards 38 touchdowns and a 97.7 rating.

He has one of the strongest arms in the league and the things that he can do with the football is insane. Even in the final game of the year against the Raiders, Herbert put on an absolute show keeping the Chargers in that game for as long as possible.

In free agency they made a big splash signing J.C. Jackson at corner and trading for Khalil Mack to play edge. That should help out a defense that at times struggled last year

The one thing going against the Chargers is the division they play in. Sharing a division with the Chiefs, Broncos, and Raiders will make for a difficult road to the playoffs. Regardless, this team is stockpiled with talent and should (keyword being should) be a playoff team in 2022.
