Dallas Cowboys vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers Breakdown

Dak Prescott and co. look to lead Jerry Jones' club back to the promised land following a disappointing exit to their 2021-22 campaign when they were ousted by the San Francisco 49ers in the wild-card round. This off-season, the Cowboys traded star receiver, Amari Cooper to the Cleveland Browns and rebuilt their receiving corps through free agency and the draft by bringing in James Washington from Pittsburgh as well as drafting Jalen Tolbert, this past April. However, unfortunately for the Cowboys, Washington fractured his foot in training camp and is expected to miss the first month-plus of the regular season.

Meanwhile, you may have heard that Tom Brady retired...albeit for a couple of days, this off-season. However, the 45-year-old quickly announced his return and oddsmakers immediately slotted the 2020 Super Bowl Champions as the favorites in the NFC. However, the club's head coach, Bruce Arians retired (actually) and the team appointed their defensive coordinator and former New York Jets head coach, Todd Bowles as their new lead man. The Bucs brought back some weapons for Brady as the club re-signed Pro Bowl wideout, Chris Godwin, and brought in former All-Pro receiver, Julio Jones, who's looking for his first Super Bowl ring.
