Through two weeks, things have looked rough for the Denver Broncos. They scored just 16 points in each of the first two weeks and barely squeaked by the Houston Texans in Week 2 for their first win of the year.

As for the San Francisco 49ers, they will turn the keys over to Jimmy Garopolo after a season-ending injury to Trey Lance. Can the 49ers cover on the road? Here's a look at the Denver Broncos vs. San Francisco 49ers odds and betting data.

Denver Broncos vs. San Francisco 49ers Odds Breakdown

The San Francisco 49ers lost a shocker 19-10 game in Chicago in Week 1 before bouncing back in Week 2 27-7 win. In that win though, Trey Lance suffered a season-ending injury and they turned the keys over to Jimmy Garoppolo.

The 49ers have rallied around Jimmy G in the past as he is 31-14 in his career as a starter with San Francisco. They are slight favorites on the road but 78% of the money is on the 49ers to cover the spread.

The Nathaniel Hackett and Russell Wilson combination has gotten off to an extremely slow start. They barely squeaked by the Texans at home just this past week. I don't trust Hackett as far as I can throw him and Kyle Shannahan should coach him under the bus.

In Russell Wilson's career, he's done well against the 49ers but Pete Carroll is a heck of a lot better coach than Hackett is. Denver still has a long way to go before people trust them.
