We're almost a quarter of the way through the NFL season. With some players, we're still patiently waiting for them to earn their ceiling potential. Others have produced exceptionally well to begin the season but probably can't sustain their success moving forward. If you're reading this article, you're looking at potentially making moves for your Week 4 slate in the NFL.
Here's a list of players you can buy low or sell high ahead of Week 4 in the NFL.
Fantasy Football Players to Buy Low in Week 4
Dalvin Cook, RB, Minnesota Vikings
Dalvin Cook added over 100 yards rushing in Week 1. He even added 98 carries on 17 carries in Week 3. But now he's got a dislocated shoulder that could keep him out of the lineup heading into Week 4. Cook has a long track record of success in this Minnesota offense. When he's healthy, things will run smoothly with Cook in the backfield. Cook was expected to be a top-tier running back this season. If you can buy him for cheap, go get him.
Jahan Dotson, WR, Washington Commanders
Dotson found the endzone three times in his first two games in the NFL. But last week, Dotson added just 3 PPR points with two receptions for ten yards. Dotson still saw eight targets and played in 87% of the snaps for Washington. His usage is high, but the Commanders struggled to create big plays against a first-place Philadelphia Eagles team. Carson Wentz likes Dotson, and clearly, Wentz has no problem finding Dotson around the end zone. He's a solid buy-low option and could be a potential flex option or third WR option heading into Week 4.
Breece Hall, RB, New York Jets
Hall is finally starting to push away from Michael Carter in the backfield, He saw 11 targets in Week 3 against the Bengals, while Carter only saw two targets. While Hall and Carter split carries, it's clear that the Jets intend to get Hall the ball in space as much as possible. Although Zach Wilson is back, the game plan will be the same. Don't worry about the quarterback. Bring in Hall.
George Kittle, TE, San Francisco 49ers
Kittle only had four catches with 28 yards last week against the Rams in his return to the field. But with Jimmy Garoppolo back under center, you can expect Kittle to put up similar stats to years prior when he's fully integrated and healthy. A lot of you are streaming tight ends. Why not try and buy Kittle on the low?

Fantasy Football Players to Sell High Before Week 4
Austin Ekeler, RB, Los Angeles Chargers
I had Ekeler on this list last week, and my mind hasn't changed this week. In Week 3, Ekeler played in just 56% of snaps as he lost more and more snaps to Joshua Kelly and SSony Michel. He put up four carries for five yards and missed out on red zone opportunities to Kelley. He got eight catches or 48 yards, but the inconsistency is not something you want to live with weekly.
Cordarrelle Patterson, RB, Atlanta Falcons
Patterson rushed 17 times for 141 yards and one touchdown last week against Seattle. However, he only saw one target for the second straight game and isn't helping out in your PPR league the way you expected. He's not going to average 140 yards per game and certainly won't be scoring touchdowns weekly, either. This is the perfect time to trade Patterson, who is coming off a huge performance against a Seattle team that absolutely stinks.

Allen Lazard, WR, Green Bay Packers
When many fantasy owners drafted, they thought Lazard could put up Davante Adams-like numbers. Last week he had six targets despite getting a ton of snaps. He's not getting the usage you'd like to see out of a number one wide receiver. Romeo Doubs plays very well, and Christian Watson and Sammy Watkins will be healthy soon. Lazard isn't producing. Get rid of him for someone who is.
Russell Gage, WR, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Gage had 12 catches for 87 yards on 13 targets last week. But with Mike Evans, Julio Jones, and Chris Godwin expected to return in Week 4, Gage will not see the kind of volume again. Get rid of Gage for a need on your team, and you'll have a much more balanced team moving forward.
