The Los Angeles Rams will take on the San Francisco 49ers in an electric divisional game on Monday Night Football.

The Rams haven't looked the same as last year after winning a Super Bowl. But there's still time to correct many of the mistakes that they've made this season. Meanwhile, the 49ers are going to have to rely on Jimmy Garoppolo for the rest of the season at quarterback after Trey Lance went down with a season-ending injury.

With all that's going on, let's see what the public thinks about this game. Here's a look at the five most popular bets for the Monday Night Football game via BetMGM.

49ers vs. Rams Against The Spread

Team% Of Bets% Of HandleCurrent SpreadOpening Spread
Rams69%67%+1.5+2.5
49ers31%33%-1.5-2.5

The 49ers are still home favorites despite facing off against the former Super Bowl champions. Many analysts and fans believe that the 49ers are probably better off with Jimmy Garoppolo under center. That's essentially why the Rams are still underdogs. However, 69% of bets and 67% of the money are on the Rams at +1.5 via BetMGM. It could become a pick-em by the time the game begins.

49ers vs. Rams Total

Opening TotalCurrent Total% Of Bets% Of Handle
Over42.542.563%57%
Under42.542.537%43%

The total hasn't moved at all since opening. However, 63% of bets and 57% of the handle are still on the over via Bet MGM. Both defenses have performed better than their offenses have to begin the year. So it'll be interesting to see what happens here.

49ers vs. Rams Moneyline

Team% Of Bets% Of HandleCurrent MoneylineOpening Moneyline
Rams86%76%+105+120
49ers14%24%-125-145

When the public sees the former Super Bowl Champions as underdogs on Monday Night Football, you know they will hammer it. Despite 86% of the money on the Rams, the 49ers are still slight favorites at home heading into this game. The Rams and 49ers haven't looked their best yet this season. This game could go either way.

BetMGM Most Bet Props

A lot of the public likes Cooper Kupp to find the endzone. The top two prop bets on Bet MGM include Cooper Kupp scoring a touchdown. The 49ers have been one of the best teams in coverage to start the year. Kupp will still have plenty of targets, but it's worth noting how well the 49ers have played in the secondary to begin the year.

However, it's also worth noting how well Kupp has played in the Rams' first month of the season. Against most teams, a Kupp bet to get into the end zone is solid. But maybe not against the 49ers. We'll see.

Lastly, the public at Bet MGM isn't a fan of Jimmy Garoppolo. They're betting the under 224.5 passing yards prop, despite the Rams not playing all that well in the secondary. They've got big names back there, but as a whole, the group has underperformed expectations in this game. And if the public thinks that the Rams will hold the lead throughout the game, Garoppolo will likely drop back more often. 225 yards is a lot for Jimmy G, but it's possible. I'm not sure I love these bets for tonight.
