Kansas City Chiefs vs. Las Vegas Raiders Breakdown

It's been business as usual for Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs through the first month of the club's 2022-23 campaign. KC came flying out of the gates with a 44-21 drubbing of Kyler Murray and the Arizona Cardinals back in Week 1. The Chiefs would earn a hard-fought victory over the Chargers on Thursday Night Football in Week 2, before dropping their only game of the season (thus far) when the offense never quite got going during a 20-17 loss in Indianapolis against Matt Ryan and the Colts. However, the Chiefs would get back on track and dropped a 40-burger on the 'vaunted' Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense en route to a 41-31 win over Tom Brady and the Bucs, last Sunday night.

Meanwhile, Derek Carr and company are hoping to continue to right the ship after earning their first victory of the season, last Sunday. The Raiders lost one-score games in each of the club's first three games of 2022-23 when they lost 24-19 to the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 1 before dropping a 29-23 game against the Arizona Cardinals and a 24-22 matchup against the Tennessee Titans, two weeks ago. However, as previously mentioned, the Raiders got back on track, this past Sunday when they took care of Russell Wilson and the struggling Denver Broncos with a 32-23 victory over Broncos Country. Josh McDaniels' squad is also getting some reinforcements in as slot receiver, Hunter Renfrow is expected to return to the lineup after missing last week's win over the Broncos with a concussion.
