Jimmy G has filled in admirably for Lance as he's led the Niners to a 3-1 record prior to the nightmare loss in Atlanta, last Sunday afternoon, defeating the likes of the Seattle Seahawks, Los Angeles Rams, and the Carolina Panthers with another just ugly loss to Russell Wilson and the Denver Broncos mixed in.
Meanwhile, Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs are looking to rebound following their last-second loss to Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills, last Sunday afternoon. Prior to their thrilling loss to Buffalo, it was business as usual for Andy Reid's squad, who won four of their first five games of the season up to that point, securing wins over the likes of the Arizona Cardinals, Los Angeles Chargers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and the Las Vegas Raiders.
Mahomes is 1-0 in his lone game against the Niners, which of course came in Super Bowl 54, where Mahomes and co. would defeat Jimmy Garoppolo's Niners by a 31-20 margin.
