Justin Herbert and the Los Angeles Chargers somehow find themselves at 4-2 heading into this weekend's showdown with the Seattle Seahawks. The Chargers have won three-straight heading into Sunday afternoon, but none of which have been smooth sailing for Brandon Staley's squad. LA claimed a 24-19 victory over AFC West rival, Las Vegas Raiders to start their 2022-23 campaign but would lose back-to-back games against the Kansas City Chiefs and a crushing 38-10 loss at home against the Jaguars in week three.
The Chargers have gotten back on track, albeit in an ugly fashion ever since, earning victories over the Houston Texans, Cleveland Browns, and most recently, another AFC West rival in the form of Russell Wilson and the Denver Broncos, this past Monday night.
Meanwhile, Geno Smith has had a career year through the first six games of the 2022-23 season, however, unfortunately for Seattle, it hasn't resulted in much success for the Seahawks. Following a shocking 17-16 victory over their former star QB, Russell Wilson in week one, it's been a roller coaster for the Hawks ever since. Seattle would then lose back-to-back games against the San Francisco 49ers and Atlanta Falcons but got back on track with a thrilling 48-45 victory on the road over the Detroit Lions. Seattle lost to the Saints in week five by a narrow 39-32 scoreline but heads into Sunday's showdown with the Chargers after a 19-9 win over the Arizona Cardinals, this past weekend.
