New England Patriots vs. Chicago Bears Betting Data

The weather is getting colder, the leaves are changing colors, and the holidays are coming, which means only one thing...Bill Belichick's New England Patriots are finding their strive. Even without the best player in the history of professional Football, Tom Brady, the Patriots continue to be one of the best teams in the league when it gets to the end of October and beginning of November. Following a lackluster 1-2 start to their 2022-23 campaign, coupled with 2021 first-round pick and starting QB Mac Jones going down with a high-ankle sprain in week three, the Pats went to Green Bay in week four and nearly won in Lambeau Field after then-backup, Brian Hoyer went down after the game's opening drive. A rookie fourth-round pick, Bailey Zappe, would become the club's signal caller for the remainder of the game in Green Bay, and the Pats nearly came out with a victory as Aaron Rodgers, and co. won 27-24 in overtime. Zappe has continued to start and led New England to back-to-back blowout victories over the Detroit Lions and, most recently, the Cleveland Browns this past Sunday. It appears as if Jones has progressed enough to be ready for Monday night's contest, but if Mac needs one more week to recover fully, Zappe should once again fill in admirably.

Meanwhile, Justin Fields and the Chicago Bears have been on a roller coaster to begin their 2022-23 campaign. The Bears began their season with a 19-10 victory over the San Francisco 49ers in a monsoon, but Matt Eberflus' squad would quickly be brought back down to reality when they traveled to Lambeau Field, where they'd be thrashed 27-10 by Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers. The Bears would get back on track with a narrow win over the Texans but are looking to avoid four-straight losses when they travel to Foxboro, Monday night.

Let's keep this one short...the Bears have one of worst offenses in the entire NFL, and the Patriots dominant defense keeps on churning despite letting top corner JC Jackson leave to the Los Angeles Chargers in free agency this past Summer. Pound the under.
