2023 NFL Mock Draft: Predicting the Entire First Round of 2023 NFL Draft
2023 NFL Mock Draft: Predicting the Entire First Round of 2023 NFL Draft
For many, the college football season is over.
We're headed into December, which means we're going to get conference championships and then bowl games.
So for many prospects, the season is pretty much over. The top players that aren't in the College Football Playoff likely won't even play in their team's respective bowl games.
So this is the perfect time to list out the 2023 first-round mock draft. Let's get to it.
2023 NFL First-Round Mock Draft
1. Texans: Bryce Young, QB, Alabama
Bryce Young threw for over 3,000 yards this season with 27 touchdowns and just five interceptions. He also had a QBR of 83.9 in the hardest conference and division in college football.
This year, Alabama lacked quality receivers. He paid the price but was still up to lead his team in the SEC.
At this point in time, Alabama still has a chance at playing in the CFP. Young is the best player in the draft and the Texans need a quarterback.
2. Bears: Will Anderson, EDGE, Alabama
Anderson is so versatile for Alabama. He plays a bunch of possessions and does what he's asked.
On the year, he's got 10 sacks and an interception. He's a game-changer on the edge and that should translate into the NFL.
3. Lions: Jalen Carter, DL, Georgia
I don't think the Lions are going to give up on Jared Goff just yet. I think they'd rather go after Jalen Carter and sure up the defense.
Imagine Hutchinson and Carter on the defensive line. That's the direction the Lions should go.

4. Seahawks: Myles Murphy, EDGE, Clemson
Myles Murphy is on pace to have more sacks than last year, after earning seven in 2021. He's got 6.5 this season and likely still has two more games remaining.
Murphy might not play in Clemson's bowl game. But he'll at least take on North Carolina in the ACC Championship. If he makes an impact in that game, he's a sure top-five pick.
5. Panthers: CJ Stroud, QB, Ohio State
The Panthers will get to start from scratch. They'll have a no-quarterback and head coach tandem. They'll want C.J. Stroud to be the quarterback of the future.
He never won a Big Ten Title and never made it into the College Football Playoff, but he's got so many incredible traits that will make him an NFL star.
6. Eagles: Kelee Ringo, CB, Georgia
7. Cardinals: Peter Skoronski, OT, Northwestern
8: Packers: Quentin Johnston, WR, TCU
9. Raiders: Bryan Bresee, DL, Clemson
10: Texans: Jordan Addison, WR, USC
The Texans got Bryce Young first overall. Now they can pair him with Jordan Addison at pick 10.
That's one way to build up the offense. With Dameon Pierce having major success in the NFL at the running back position, the Texans' offense could be seriously good with Bryce Young under center along with Addison and Nico Collins at wideout.
11. Jaguars: Paris Johnson Jr., OT, Ohio State
12. Steelers: Joey Porter Jr., CB, Penn State
13. Lions: Christian Gonzalez, CB, Oregon
14. Colts: Will Levis, QB, Kentucky
The Colts will be looking for a reliable franchise quarterback. Levis has had his turnover issues. But scouts believe his success will translate into the NFL well.
The Colts, like the Panthers, will likely have a new quarterback and head coach combo. That should help the rebuild process.

15. Falcons: Tyree Wilson, LB, Cam Smith
16. Seahawks: Michael Mayer, TE, Notre Dame
17: Chargers: Broderick Jones, OT, Georgia
If Broderick Jones falls down to 17, the Chargers have to pick him up. He'll be able to protect Justin Herbert for a long period of time.
18. Patriots: Isaiah Foskey, EDGE, Notre Dame
19. Buccaneers: Brian Branch, S, Alabama
20. Commanders: Olu Fashanu, OT, Penn State
21. Ravens: Bijan Robinson, RB, Texas
22. Jets: Jalin Hyatt, WR, Tennessee
23. Bengals: Jared Verse, EDGE, Florida State
24. Giants: Keyshon Boutte, WR, LSU
25. Broncos: Jahmyr Gibbs, RB, Alabama
26. Titans: John Michael Schmitz, LB, Minnesota
27: Cowboys: Gervon Dexter, LB, Florida
28: Bills: O'Cyrus Torrence, LB, Florida
29: Dolphins: Forfeited
30. Vikings: Clark Phillips III, CB, Utah
31. Chiefs: Jaelyn Duncan, OT, Maryland
32. Eagles: Henry To'oTo'o, LB, Alabama
