Fantasy Football Buy Low, Sell High: 12 Trade Candidates Ahead of Week 14

Depending on how many teams make the playoffs in your fantasy football league, the regular season might've concluded for some of you last week.

However, other leagues might have one or two more weeks before the playoffs begin. Therefore, some leagues will still allow trading for another couple of weeks.

Here's a list of players you can buy low or sell high ahead of Week 14 in the NFL.

Fantasy Football Players to Buy Low in Week 14

Jameson Williams, WR, Detroit Lions

If you're looking for an attractive wild card, you might want to pick up Jameson Williams or buy him for cheap.

Williams didn't get much playing action last week, but he's a first-round pick with a ton of potential to make big plays toward the end of the year.

If you're in a dynasty or keeper league, you will want Williams next season, anyway.

James Cook, RB, Buffalo Bills

I'm thinking the same way about James Cook. He might eventually take over as running back for the Bills.

Think James Cook can take over as RB1 for the Bills? Bet his player props for 30/1 odds with this DraftKings promo code!

Cook earned 14 carries and 64 yards on the ground against the Patriots. He also caught six passes on six targets for another 41 yards. He's a serious threat in one of the best offenses in the NFL.

In PPR, he's worth even more, as he's seen 11 targets over the last two weeks.

Nico Collins, WR, Houston Texans

The Texans have struggled to keep most games close. Therefore, eventually, the Texans have to start airing it out in the second half.

Nico Collins has seen at least seven targets in the last four games. He's also earned two touchdowns and has played at least 72% of snaps.

Again, if you're in a keeper league or dynasty league, Collins could be an exciting keeper knowing that Bryce Young or CJ Stroud will be the next Houston quarterback.

D'Andre Swift, RB, Detroit Lions

I've been talking up Swift for a while. He's one of the best running backs in the league when he's healthy. Week by week, you'd figure that he's getting healthier.

Swift just saw 14 carries and earned 62 yards with a touchdown. He also earned six targets and four catches against the Jaguars, totaling over 20 fantasy points in PPR formats.

Swift has seen 14 targets over the last two games and is starting to get his carries.

Additional Fantasy Football Buy Low Players

  • Lamar Jackson, QB, Baltimore Ravens
  • Samaje Perine, RB, Cincinnati Bengals

Fantasy Football Players to Sell High Before Week 14

Elijah Moore, WR, New York Jets

Although Moore only scored 3.70 points in PPR formats last week, he still saw six targets. In the game prior, he earned a touchdown in two receptions for 64 yards.

With Mike White under center, somebody might be foolish and trade for Moore. Moore isn't even getting the end-around that Braxton Berrios is getting.

Joe Mixon, RB, Cincinnati Bengals

The Bengals are on a massive winning streak. It's due to Perine. Mixon might come back from his concussion this week. But I'd have to assume that Perine will remain the main back even if Mixon is healthy.

Trade Mixon if you can persuade someone to take him off your hands because he's returning to the field this week.

Tyler Higbee, TE, Los Angeles Rams

The Rams have thrown in the towel. I wouldn't recommend starting any Rams players outside of maybe Van Jefferson.

Higbee played in 59% of snaps against the Chiefs and got no targets. This week, he saw five targets but caught two balls for 14 yards.

Sell him.

Raheem Mostert, RB, Miami Dolphins

Mostert had a rough game against the 49ers last week. The Dolphins were trailing for most of the game in the second half and didn't run the ball.

Miami won't have it any easier the rest of the season against the Chargers, Bills, Packers, Patriots, and Jets. You can trade him away if he's going to run just seven times a game.
