Over the last seven days, the Chiefs have seen 58.1% of bets. Meaning the Eagles have seen 41.9% of bets have been placed on them. A stark contrast to last week where 56.8% of bets were placed on the Eagles and 43.2% of bets on the Chiefs.
Of course, with the markets swinging wildly, but equally the last two weeks the odds really haven’t moved. The Eagles opened as 1.5-point favorites and they remain 1.5-point favorites to take home the Super Bowl.
Overall the last two weeks, the Eagles are the clear Super Bowl favorites. However, it is interesting that the Chiefs are the ones picking up steam heading into the game.
Perhaps fans believe Patrick Mahomes is healthier now and believe in the Chiefs as a result. Perhaps the Eagles hype has turned people off. Whatever the case, the Chiefs are the hot team on the market now.
