2024 Super Bowl Odds: Bettors Are Hammering the Chiefs to Win Super Bowl 58

The Super Bowl has come and passed, which has books, bettors, and fans alike looking forward to the 2023/24 season. It should be no surprise that the Chiefs are the overwhelming favorite of bettors. However, the rest of the top five may come as a shock.

Chiefs' Super Bowl 2024 Odds

The Chiefs have seen 27.8% of bets placed on them to win the Super Bowl. They’re also the sportsbooks' favorite at +600, or an implied 14.3% chance to repeat. They’re followed on the market by the Arizona Cardinals who are given 11.1% of bets. The books are nowhere near as optimistic, as the Cardinals are given +28000 odds or an implied 0.4% chance; only the Texans have worse odds.

The rest of the top five is rounded out by the Cincinnati Bengals, New York Jets, and Carolina Panthers. The Bengals are currently fifth on the market with +1000 odds, or an implied 9.1% chance to win the Super Bowl. The Jets are 10th on the market with +3500 odds, or an implied 2.8% chance. The Panthers are given +7000 odds, or an implied 1.4% chance, 23rd on the market.

Most of these teams make some kind of sense. The Chiefs just won Super Bowl. The Bengals were once again in the AFC Championship game. The Jets are connected to top-end QBs, mostly Aaron Rodgers. The Panthers play in arguably the worst division in football with a new head coach Frank Reich. The Cardinals are very strange though. With no head coach at this time, Kyler Murray likely out for the majority of the season with a torn ACL, and talks of trading DeAndre Hopkins, the team looks closer to a rebuild then a title run. Yet, early betting believes that the Cardinals are way better than the books are giving them credit for. We’ll see if Arizona has something up their sleeves this offseason to prove them right.
