NFL Fantasy Start Em, Sit Em: 20 Players to Start or Sit in Week 2

With upsets galore and interesting matchups, NFL Week 1 did not disappoint! Now we get to look forward to Week 2 and your fantasy team. Jason Radowitz shares his NFL Fantasy start or sit them list for Week 2.

NFL Fantasy Start Em, Sit Em: 20 Players to Start or Sit in Week 2

I'll give myself a pat on the back for the Week 1 article.

I suggested playing Tua Tagovailoa at quarterback and told readers to stay away from Daniel Jones and Kadarious Toney.

The only blunder from that article was where I told people to sit Breece Hall. That man is on a mission. I'll never again suggest that, especially with Zach Wilson under center for the Jets.

Here's a Week 2 outlook on which players to start and sit in Week 2 in fantasy.

Embarrassing your friends in Fantasy or are they embarrassing you? Lucky for you, we have over $5,000 in free bets in bonuses to use on the NFL! Even if your fantasy team is sucking, you can still brag about winning money!

Quarterbacks To Play in Week 2

1. Tua Tagovailoa, Miami Dolphins

2. Joe Burrow, Cincinnati Bengals

Do I have to suggest that you play Joe Burrow in Week 2?

I know there are people out there worried about Burrow and contemplating not playing him after a dud performance. He's your quarterback. He's the highest-paid player in the NFL. He'll be fine.

Burrow playing the Ravens after what happened last week? Don't count out Joey B. Make sure you're hammering Joe Burrow prop bets at DraftKings right now

Quarterbacks To Sit in Week 2

3. Geno Smith, QB, Seattle Seahawks

4. Deshaun Watson, QB, Cleveland Browns

5. Jordan Love, QB, Green Bay Packers

While I'm not concerned about Burrow, I am about Geno Smith. He went 16-for-26 and added just 112 yards passing in his first game this season. Until I see a better performance out of him, Smith can stay on the bench.

Meanwhile, Deshaun Watson wasn't any better. He went 16-for-29 with 154 yards passing.

Finally, Jordan Love wasn't super efficient while the Packers defeated the Bears. He just connected on big plays. It's hard to imagine that will continue week after week.

Running Backs To Play in Week 2

6. Isiah Pacheco, Kansas City Chiefs

7. Rachaad White, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

8. Kyren Williams, Los Angeles Rams

Patrick Mahomes led the Chiefs in rushing in Week 1, with six carries for 46 yards. However, Isiah Pacheco led the running backs with eight carries and had the longest carry of the day for running backs in that game. Stick with Pacheco.

Meanwhile, Rachaad White of the Buccaneers had 17 carries but only earned 39 yards. White will need to break off more explosive plays. But he's going to get most of the carries in Tampa Bay.

Lastly, Kyren Williams of the Rams added 15 carries for 52 yards and two touchdowns. Cam Akers got more carries, but he only rushed for 29 yards on 22 carries. That's an average of 1.3 yards per attempt. Williams will take over this run game very soon.

Hammer Isiah Pacheco overs at Ceasars right now. Bet up to $50 and get $250 that Pacheco has a better week and don't worry about losing!

Running Backs To Sit in Week 2

9. Khalil Herbert RB, Chicago Bears

10. D'Andre Swift, RB, Philadelphia Eagles

Khalil Herbert is still a solid target in PPR leagues. But his rushing ability isn't great. He had nine carries for 27 yards. Meanwhile, Roschon Johnson added five carries for 20 yards, and D'Onta Foreman had five carries.

Herbert's production will get lost in the running back shuffle.

On the other hand, D'Andre Swift was someone many tried to buy low in the Eagles' system. So far, it's looking like it'll backfire. Kenneth Gainwell added 14 carries, while Boston Scott and D'Andre Swift had just one carry each.

Wide Receivers To Play in Week 2

11. Puka Nacua, Los Angeles Rams

12. Michael Thomas, New Orleans Saints

I know the Rams are facing the 49ers in Week 2. That ultimately means the Rams will likely trail throughout this game. Therefore, the Rams will be passing. Puka Nacua had ten receptions and even more targets in their 30-13 win over the Seahawks.

On the other hand, Michael Thomas added five catches for 61 yards. He didn't find the endzone, but he's definitely in a good position with Derek Carr throwing him the ball.

Wide Receivers To Sit in Week 2

13. Tyler Lockett, Seattle Seahawks

14. Jakobi Meyers, Las Vegas Raiders

15. Van Jefferson, Los Angeles Rams

Tyler Lockett added just two catches for 10 yards against the Rams in Week 1. No player caught more than four passes from Geno Smith on Sunday. No player added 50+ yards receiving for the Seahawks either. I'll pass on Lockett for Week 2.

Meanwhile, Jakobi Meyers added nine catches and 81 yards with two touchdowns. Against the Bills, don't expect that kind of performance this week.

Tight Ends To Play in Week 2

16. David Njoku, Cleveland Browns

17. Sam LaPorta, Detroit Lions

David Njoku only had two catches on three targets in Week 1. But everyone was high on him in preseason. TE Harrison Bryant caught the touchdown for the Browns last weekend, which hurt Njoku backers. But when it's not raining and pouring, Njoku has a chance to be one of the better tight ends this season.

Meanwhile, Sam LaPorta is officially a significant part of the Lions' offense. He's the next T.J. Hockenson. He added five catches on five targets for 39 yards. Five catches from a tight end is hard these days. LaPorta will be consistent.

Can the Lions add another win on Sunday? Well, FanDuel is the place to bet on Sam LaPorta props right now!

Tight Ends To Sit in Week 2

18. Jake Ferguson, Dallas Cowboys

19. Greg Dulcich, Chicago Bears

20. Dalton Schultz, Houston Texans

Jake Ferguson had two catches for 11 yards on seven targets. He dropped so many passes and didn't look great. Against the Jets, he'll be just as bad.

Meanwhile, the Broncos' best receiver was a running back last weekend. Greg Dulcich had two catches for 22 yards. Don't bother with him.

Finally, C.J. Stroud completed just 40% of passes thrown to Dalton Schultz. He finished with two catches for four yards. No thanks.
