It's been hard to keep up through the first two weeks of the NFL season.
We've got top teams from last year struggling and many star players injured throughout the season's first two weeks.
However, it's still so early in the season. Every team has a chance to turn things around or improve.
Here are the NFL power rankings as we head into Week 3.
2023 NFL Power Rankings
1. San Francisco 49ers
The San Francisco 49ers are 2-0 after wins against the Steelers and Rams. The defense has been sensational, and Brock Purdy has led the 49ers when critics believed he couldn't.
The Niners are the best team in the NFL.
2. Dallas Cowboys
However, the Cowboys are knocking on the door. They've added 20+ point wins against the Giants and Jets and will now have another opportunity to earn a 20+ point win against the Arizona Cardinals this weekend.
Dallas' defense will earn so many turnovers this year. If Dak Prescott limits his turnovers, the Cowboys will be one of the best teams in the NFL throughout the season.
3. Philadelphia Eagles
The Eagles are 2-0, and while they don't look like last year's team, there's plenty of time to find their identity. What matters is that they're 2-0.
4. Miami Dolphins
If Tua Tagovailoa, the Dolphins will be a dangerous team this year. He didn't have to do too much last week against the Patriots because the run game was so good. But he's got Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle as his two receivers. That's going to help a lot down the stretch.
5. Baltimore Ravens
The Ravens escaped the Bengals in a divisional matchup. They're now 2-0 while playing great defense. Meanwhile, Lamar Jackson probably has the best NFL receivers he's ever played with, including Zay Flowers, who could win the Offensive Rookie of the Year.
6. Kansas City Chiefs
The Chiefs got Travis Kelce back, but he was out of sync in his return. Patrick Mahomes doesn't have many weapons on offense. However, the defense stepped up last week and survived the Jaguars on the road. That's worth something.
7. Buffalo Bills
The Bills lost to the Jets last week. But they responded with a 38-10 win over the Las Vegas Raiders. Josh Allen needs to be more protective of the football. The Bills will be contenders this year when he learns to do that.
8. Detroit Lions
The Lions couldn't out-offense the Seahawks on Sunday, losing 37-31. Jared Goff and the Lions offense will be OK. However, the secondary for Detroit is the big concern right now.
9. Jacksonville Jaguars
The Jaguars held Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs offense to 17 points. However, the offense only managed nine points. They'll have to put a complete game together, but they have the potential to be good.
10. New Orleans Saints
The Saints have won two games by a combined margin of four points. We'll see if they're the new Minnesota Vikings this year. But for now, the Saints are a top-ten team with two wins.
11. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
12. Washington Commanders
13. Atlanta Falcons
The Falcons are likely the worst "undefeated" team of the three teams between the Buccaneers, Commanders, and Falcons. I don't trust Desmond Ridder as much as I trust Sam Howell and Baker Mayfield.
14. Seattle Seahawks
15. Cleveland Browns
16. Cincinnati Bengals
17. Pittsburgh Steelers
18. Los Angeles Chargers
19. Green Bay Packers
20. Los Angeles Rams
The Rams could be fun this year. What if Cooper Kupp returns, and Matthew Stafford works with Kupp, Puka Nacua, Tutu Atwell, and Kyren Williams? This is an exciting bunch.
21. New York Jets
22. Tennessee Titans
23. New York Giants
24. Minnesota Vikings
25. New England Patriots
26. Las Vegas Raiders
27. Indianapolis Colts
28. Denver Broncos
The Broncos were not better off with Sean Payton as head coach. Now, the defense is even worse than last year, and the offense still can't get results.
29. Carolina Panthers
30. Houston Texans
31. Chicago Bears
32. Arizona Cardinals
