Week 3 NFL Power Rankings: Rankings the Top 10 Teams Heading Into Week 3

NFL Week 2 was interesting. We saw some interesting endings to games and, unfortunately, saw more injuries to players. Matt McCuen shares his NFL Top 10 Power Rankings for Week 3.

NFL Top 10 Power Rankings Into Week 3

1. San Francisco 49ers

No team has been as good as the 49ers in the first two weeks. The defense did not play as well in week two, but their offense has looked outstanding in both weeks. San Francisco will host the New York Giants on Thursday night.

2. Philadelphia Eagles

The Eagles jumped out to a 2-0 start with a win over the Minnesota Vikings on Thursday night. The Eagles offense still has not looked dominant, yet they are 2-0. The sky is the limit for this team when they get rolling. The Eagles will travel to Tampa Bay on Monday night.

3. Miami Dolphins

Miami has been the best team in the AFC after two weeks. The Dolphin's offense was not as electric in week two, but this did show us that the Dolphins can win games in multiple different ways. Miami will play host to Denver on Sunday afternoon.

4. Baltimore Ravens (+2)

Baltimore went into Cincinnati and picked up a massive win in Week 2. The offense for the Ravens has been clicking, and in typical Ravens form, they have a top-ten defense in football. Baltimore will duel things out with Indianapolis at home on Sunday.

5. Kansas City Chiefs (-1)

Kansas City took down the Jaguars in week two, but their offense has not impressed in the first two weeks of the season. This team remains in my top five, but they fall a spot after two sluggish weeks on offense. Kansas will battle Chicago on Sunday at home.

6. Dallas Cowboys (+3)

Dallas appears to be the real deal in 2023. The only reason that the Cowboys are not in my top five is due to the fact that they have played two-week offenses in Weeks 1 and 2. Dallas will travel to Arizona this weekend.

7. New Orleans Saints (+3)

I remain high on this Saints team, which has allowed just one touchdown this season, which came with less than a minute against the Panthers on Monday. The offense has looked okay but will only improve as the year goes along. The Saints' defense alone keeps them in the top seven. New Orleans will travel to Green Bay on Sunday afternoon.

8. Buffalo Bills (+3)

Buffalo went down 7-0 early against the Raiders on Sunday, but they quickly responded and dominated the game the rest of the way. Buffalo has a Super Bowl-caliber roster, and if Josh Allen can take care of the football, this is a dangerous team. Buffalo will travel to Washington on Sunday afternoon.

9. Atlanta Falcons (+5)

The Falcons are 2-0, and while they have not beaten the best teams in the world, the 2-0 record is impressive. The Falcons stormed back late in the fourth quarter to steal a game on Sunday against the Packers. The Falcons will have their most challenging task of the season against the Lions on Sunday.

10. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

I can not believe I have three teams from the NFC South in the top ten after two weeks, but how can I keep an unbeaten team out of the top ten? Baker Mayfield has looked great this season, and the Bucs defense is allowing just 17 points per game after two weeks. The Bucs will host Philadelphia on Monday night.

New York Jets (5), Detriot Lions (7), and Cleveland Browns (8)
