We're headed to Week 3 of the NFL season.
Colts' quarterback Anthony Richardson is questionable this weekend. Therefore, Gardner Minshew has taken him over in the quarterback rankings this weekend.
The Washington Commanders and a couple of other teams have been surprising. Check below to see where each quarterback ranks heading into the weekend.
Quarterback Rankings
32. Bryce Young (CAR) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best MVP odds for Young
Don't lose hope in Bryce Young. He's just going to need more time to develop. He also could use better protection, more playmakers, and everything else that the top quarterbacks in the league have.
31. Zach Wilson (NYJ) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best MVP odds for Wilson
The Jets are sticking with Zach Wilson right now. We'll see if it works out. So far, it hasn't.
30. Kenny Pickett (PIT) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best MVP odds for Pickett
Pickett needs to be more consistent for the Steelers moving forward.
29. Jimmy Garoppolo (LV) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best MVP odds for Garoppolo
How long until we see Aidan O'Connell quarterbacking this offense? This feels like a Carson Wentz-Sam Howell situation.
28. Joshua Dobbs (ARI) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best MVP odds for Dobbs
Dobbs helped put together a solid first half against the Giants. Then everything went downhill from there.
27. Gardner Minshew (IND) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best MVP odds for Minshew
Minshew will likely start at quarterback over Anthony Richardson. Richardson hasn't been clear from concussion protocol yet. Minshew looked poised and could run up the rankings with quality play. It's just that he'll likely only play one game and then head right back to the bench.
26. Joe Burrow (CIN) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best MVP odds for Burrow
Joe Burrow signed an expensive contract. But now he's hurt with a calf injury and hasn't thrown many deep balls. That's concerning.
25. Desmond Ridder (ATL) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best MVP odds for Ridder
Ridder is undoubtedly a winner. But he's not a great quarterback.
24. Deshaun Watson (CLE) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best MVP odds for Watson
Even Watson acknowledged that he needs to play better for the Browns.
23. Justin Fields (CHI) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best MVP odds for Fields
Justin Fields is super dynamic. But he's complained about coaching, has missed some reads, and has thrown balls to two different receivers in the same area. It's a mess in Chicago. But I don't think we should all give up on Fields yet.
22. Ryan Tannehill (TEN) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best MVP odds for Tannehill
As long as Tannehill limits turnovers, he'll always give the Titans a shot at winning.
21. Daniel Jones (NYG) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best MVP odds for Daniel Jones
Can we get some more of the second-half Daniel Jones from last weekend? Asking for a friend...
20. Mac Jones (NE) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best MVP odds for Mac Jones
Mac Jones has been asked to throw the football nearly 100 times in two weeks. That's something we didn't see much last year.
19. Russell Wilson (DEN) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best MVP odds for Wilson
While Wilson has improved for the Broncos, the defense hasn't. So there's that.
18. CJ Stroud (HOU) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best MVP odds for Stroud
CJ Stroud continues to get better each week for the Texans. He's developed solid chemistry with Nico Collins and Tank Dell. He's only going to improve week-to-week.
17. Jordan Love (GB) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best MVP odds for Love
Jordan Love has performed highly without Aaron Jones and Christian Watson healthy. When those two get back, Love can be dominant.
16. Sam Howell (WSH) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best MVP odds for Howell
Sam Howell looks like a seasoned veteran out there right now. Washington's offense looks to be unstoppable.
15. Derek Carr (NO) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best MVP odds for Carr
It'd be nice if Derek Carr added more passing touchdowns. But he's a solid leader and will take the Saints far once that whole team gets healthy and off the suspended list.
14. Baker Mayfield (TB) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best MVP odds for Mayfield
Mayfield has instilled confidence in this Buccaneers team. They're now 2-0, and it's got a lot to do with how well Mayfield has played.
13. Geno Smith (SEA) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best MVP odds for Smith
Maybe we won't get the same Geno Smith as last year. But he was still dominant in last week's victory against the Lions, helping the team earn 37 points. He'll be fine.
12. Trevor Lawrence (JAX) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best MVP odds for Lawrence
Trevor Lawrence had a poor start against the Chiefs last weekend. However, I don't think that carries over throughout the season. He has more talent this season than last year, thanks to the Calvin Ridley trade.
11. Jared Goff (DET) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best MVP odds for Goff
Goff is one of the best pocket passers in the league. The Lions have exceptional talent all over the field. If Detroit uses Jahmyr Gibbs more with David Montgomery out in the passing game, Goff's stats will look even better.
10. Matthew Stafford (LAR) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best MVP odds for Stafford
Nobody expected Matthew Stafford to look this good this year. Without Cooper Kupp, the Rams were supposed to tank. But Stafford has plenty of other wideouts making plays, including Pauk Nacua and Tutu Atwell.
9. Kirk Cousins (MIN) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best MVP odds for Cousins
Cousins hasn't been helped this year. The Vikings have fumbled the ball way too many times. Despite Cousins playing terrific football, the Vikings are 0-2. If he continues to play at the high level he's playing at, the Vikings will be all alright.
8. Lamar Jackson (BAL) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best MVP odds for Jackson
The Ravens no longer have JK Dobbins. But the offense still looks better than it ever has with Lamar Jackson under center. Jackson has Zay Flowers on his side. That's the best receiver he's ever played with.
7. Josh Allen (BUF) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best MVP odds for Allen
Josh Allen limited turnovers against the Raiders, and the Bills earned an easy victory. He'll have to continue to be patient and make the good reads.
6. Justin Herbert (LAC) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best MVP odds for Herbert
The Chargers are 0-2, but not because of Herbert. Herbert continues to connect with Keenan Allen and Mike Williams at a very high rate. With Austin Ekeler out, the run game has been weak. Meanwhile, the defense has been awful to start the season. All Herbert can do is his part.
5. Dak Prescott (DAL) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best MVP odds for Prescott
Dak Prescott looks different this year. The offense has responded well, and the defense continues to put him in significant positions.
4. Brock Purdy (SF) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best MVP odds for Purdy
There were critics about Purdy being the franchise guy for the 49ers. But he's made those critics quiet down through the first two games.
3. Jalen Hurts (PHI) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best MVP odds for Hurts
Hurts hasn't been tremendous for the Eagles. He knows he needs to be better. The Eagles also want to get A.J. Brown more involved, but last weekend, the run game worked so well.
Hurts will be fine. The Eagles will be fine.
2. Tua Tagovailoa (MIA) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best MVP odds for Tua
Tua Tagovailoa has the highest probability of winning the MVP two weeks into the season. He can thank all the speed in the lineup, including Tyreek Hill.
If Tagovailoa can stay healthy, the Dolphins will dominate offensively all year.
1. Patrick Mahomes (KC) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best MVP odds for Mahomes
I know it's been a slow start for Mahomes and the Chiefs. But if we've learned anything about Mahomes, things will all be figured out by the middle of the season. They'll take off from there.
