Players are dropping like flies as the NFL Trade Deadline looms. There will likely be a lot of different moves that could change the outlook of certain players moving forward.

Quarterbacks To Play in Week 9
1. C.J. Stroud, Houston Texans
2. Derek Carr, New Orleans Saints
Stroud didn't even complete a touchdown pass against the Carolina Panthers last week. But he was still accurate and has a solid matchup against the Buccaneers on Sunday.
Meanwhile, the Saints' offense is coming around. Carr is taking on the Chicago, who allowed the Chargers to score 30 points on Sunday night. Carr's got plenty of talent around him to produce. He can dump off passes to Kamara, find medium routes with Michael Thomas, and earn extended plays with Chris Olave and Rashid Shaheed.

Quarterbacks To Sit in Week 9
3. Will Levis, Tennessee Titans
4. Baker Mayfield, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
5. Daniel Jones, New York Giants
Will Levis made some incredible plays in his first career start for the Titans. But take a chill pill. Let's see him do it again before we rely on him.
Meanwhile, there are other options better than Baker Mayfield, who has been the 17th-best quarterback in the league in fantasy this year.
And while I know many fantasy owners are targeting the Raiders' defense with their offensive players. Don't take a chance on Daniel Jones coming off his neck injury. The Giants will run the football with Barkley, just like the Lions did with Jahmyr Gibbs.
Running Backs To Play in Week 9
6. Jerome Ford, Cleveland Browns
7. Rachaad White, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
8. Darrell Henderson Jr., Los Angeles Rams
You didn't spend $100 FAAB to sit Jerome Ford on the bench. He was injured last week and was limited. But with another week to get healthy, Ford should earn most of the carries moving forward. Against the Cardinals, playing Ford is a no-brainer.
Meanwhile, Rashaad White has been more consistent recently. He just added nine carries for 39 yards, but he also earned seven catches for 70 yards against the Bills. He'll never be a dominant rusher in this offense, but he's been used more effectively lately.
If you have Darrell Henderson Jr. on your roster, you must play him against the Packers. With the unclear status of Matthew Stafford, we could see a lot of Henderson in Week 9.
Running Backs To Sit in Week 9
9. Dameon Pierce, Houston Texans
10. Emari Demercado, Arizona Cardinals
Dameon Pierce is now splitting carries with Devin Singletary. That's not ideal.
On the other hand, Emari Demercado earned 20 rushing attempts last weekend against the Ravens. But if he won't be used in the passing game, his worth decreases.
Wide Receivers To Play in Week 9
11. Josh Downs, Indianapolis Colts
12. Diontae Johnson, Pittsburgh Steelers
Josh Downs added seven catches on nine targets for 72 yards for the Colts. He led the team in receiving yards and has now added at least 70 receiving yards in three of his last four games. Gardner Minshew starting has been a massive benefit for Downs.
On the other hand, Diontae Johnson just saw 14 targets against the Jaguars. With Mitch Trubisky likely playing instead of Kenny Pickett, playing Johnson is a no-brainer.

Wide Receivers To Sit in Week 9
13. Rashee Rice, Kansas City Chiefs
14. Jakobi Meyers, Las Vegas Raiders
15. Jahan Dotson, Washington Commanders
Although Rashee Rice continues to see targets and receptions, he's still only the 41st wide receiver in fantasy. He's added three touchdowns but doesn't typically get big plays down the field.
Meanwhile, don't expect the Las Vegas offense to have a big day agaisnt the Giants' defense. Jakobi Meyers added just one catch for 19 yards last week. I'd stay away from any Raiders this weekend.
Jahan Dotson was a stud last weekend. But he's still been super inconsistent. Now he'll face a usually difficult New England secondary this weekend.
Until Dotson plays more consistently, there are better options for streaming.
Tight Ends To Play in Week 9
16. Taysom Hill, New Orleans Saints
17. Trey McBride, Arizona Cardinals
We can't ignore Taysom Hill's production any longer. Last weekend, he added nine carries for 63 yards and a pair of touchdowns against the Colts. You won't find this production outside of the top five tight ends.
On the other hand, with Zach Ertz on the IR, Trey McBride has stepped up. He showed us what he could do last season. Now he's in a role where he can finally be the guy. He had ten catches on 14 targets. He'll likely be a comfort target for Clayton Tune if he gets the start on Sunday.

Tight Ends To Sit in Week 9
18. Logan Thomas, Washington Commanders
19. Luke Musgrave, Green Bay Packers
20. Kyle Pitts, Atlanta Falcons
It's tough starting players in inconsistent offenses.
Thomas, Musgrave, and Pitts have all put up goose eggs or monster numbers this season. I'd much rather get Trey McBride over any of these three tight ends for Week 9.
