The bottom portion of the 2023 NFL Power Rankings hasn't changed much. But the top of the rankings has.
We've got a new No. 1 team at the top this week. I'm sure you all can guess which team is up there now after Monday night's showdown.
Check out the rankings for Week 17 below.
2023 NFL Power Rankings
1. Baltimore Ravens
The Ravens earned five interceptions and a win over the San Francisco 49ers on the road.
They're the first to 12 wins and have the top MVP candidate at quarterback in Lamar Jackson.
2. San Francisco 49ers
The Niners are still the most likely NFC team to make the Super Bowl this year despite the loss to Baltimore.
3. Miami Dolphins
Miami escaped Dallas at home last week. But now the Dolphins have the Ravens this week.
4. Buffalo Bills
Buffalo earned a close win against the Chargers in Week 16. It wasn't the prettiest performance, but a win is a win.
5. Detroit Lions
Detroit earned a rivalry win over the Vikings on the road. The Lions allowed over 400 yards passing but also added a bunch of turnovers that helped them achieve the win.
6. Dallas Cowboys
At least Dallas is home this week.
7. Philadelphia Eagles
Philadelphia is what they are. They're not a Super Bowl contender at this moment.
8. Cleveland Browns
The Browns have had a favorable schedule. But we can't take away from what Joe Flacco has done with this Browns team.
9. Seattle Seahawks
The Seahawks earned another win over Tennessee on the road. At 8-7, they're in the playoff race with a game against the Steelers this weekend.
10. Kansas City Chiefs
Kansas City has a lot of injuries on offense. But the play-calling has been questionable. This is the first year where the Chiefs don't look like the Chiefs in the Mahomes era.
11. Los Angeles Rams
12. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
13. Houston Texans
Houston's still in the playoff race and will have C.J. Stroud back in action in Week 17.
14. Jacksonville Jaguars
15. Cincinnati Bengals
Alright, maybe Jake Browning isn't that good after all. Especially with Ja'Marr Chase injured.
16. Green Bay Packers
17. Indianapolis Colts
18. Pittsburgh Steelers
19. Tennessee Titans
20. New Orleans Saints
21. Atlanta Falcons
Taylor Heinicke was always the better choice than Desmond Ridder at quarterback.
22. Denver Broncos
23. Chicago Bears
24. Las Vegas Raiders
25. Minnesota Vikings
26. New York Giants
27. New York Jets
28. New England Patriots
29. Arizona Cardinals
30. Los Angeles Chargers
31. Carolina Panthers
32. Washington Commanders
Sam Howell was never the answer for the Commanders. They'll need to look into a new quarterback in the 2024 NFL Draft when they get their new coaching staff.
