2024 NFL Power Rankings: Ranking All 32 Teams Heading into the Divisional Playoffs

2024 NFL power rankings as we head into the divisional round of the playoffs. The Baltimore Ravens maintained their top spot in the rankings as they sat with a first round bye and high hopes in the playoffs. Read on to see who follows them up.

2024 NFL Power Rankings: Ranking All 32 Teams Heading into the Divisional Playoffs

It pays to earn home-field advantage. Only the Dallas Cowboys lost as the home team in Wild Card Weekend.

Therefore, road teams like the Eagles, who ultimately fell flat on their face in the second half of the season, got booted out of the playoffs.

Check out where the Eagles and Cowboys dropped to in our NFL Power Rankings as we head into the Divisional Playoffs rounds.

2024 NFL Power Rankings

1. Baltimore Ravens

The Ravens didn't have to play in Wild Card Weekend. But they'll have a home game against the Houston Texans as 9-point favorites.

Oddsmakers are confident in the Ravens on Saturday.

2. San Francisco 49ers

The 49ers also had a bye-week in the Wild Card Round as the No. 1 seed in the NFC. San Francisco used that time to get healthy and will now take on a red-hot Green Bay Packers team in the Divisional Playoffs.

3. Buffalo Bills

Buffalo looked like the best team in Wild Card Weekend after a 31-17 win over the Steelers. Josh Allen played lights out and didn't turn the ball over. When he does that, the Bills are hard to stop.

They'll be favorites at home against the Kansas City Chiefs this weekend. Buffalo typically struggles against Kansas City in the playoffs. Maybe this year it'll be different.

4. Detroit Lions

Detroit escaped the Rams on Sunday Night and now has another home game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday.

The Lions still need to improve in the secondary, but the offense has been doing enough to survive and advance.

5. Kansas City Chiefs

The Chiefs aren't as good offensively as in previous years. But let's not forget about the Kansas City defense. The Chiefs have been terrific defensively this season, so when the offense starts to click, watch out!

6. Houston Texans

Houston's win against the Browns last weekend was incredible. C.J. Stroud doesn't look like a rookie under center for the Texans.

The defense also played exceptionally well and found ways to stop a surging Joe Flacco. They're going to be a tough out for the Ravens.

7. Green Bay Packers

Green Bay was the only team to earn a road upset in the Wild Card round. The Packers scored at an insane pace behind Jordan Love, who continues to make ginormous striders game after game.

8. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Baker Mayfield instilled confidence in the Buccaneers from the get-go. After a dominant second half and an easy win over the Eagles, Tampa Bay has an exciting matchup against the Lions.

The Buccaneers have a legitimate chance to make the NFC Championship game with another solid defensive performance against Detroit.

9. Dallas Cowboys

The Cowboys let their fans down again. After a fantastic season with so many highs, the Cowboys looked absolutely dreadful against the Packers in the Wild Card Round.

Mike McCarthy might get fired. It's not an ideal situation for Dallas.

10. Miami Dolphins

The Dolphins didn't stand a chance against the Chiefs in the freezing cold. But Tua Tagovailoa is the best quarterback that the Lions can get. They need to continue to trust him, and it looks like they will.

11. Los Angeles Rams

The Rams almost earned a win in Ford Field over the Lions but fell a point short. Matthew Stafford had another incredible season for the Rams, despite many believing the Rams would tank this season.

12. Cleveland Browns

The story of Joe Flacco was entertaining. But I think we're all happy to watch more C.J. Stroud over Joe Flacco.

13. Pittsburgh Steelers

That loss to the Bills could be the last game with Mike Tomlin as head coach of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

14. Philadelphia Eagles

Philadelphia had the ugliest second half after an incredible first half.

There will be a lot of moving parts in that locker room. There's already been plenty of blaming and childish acting. It's only going to get worse when things start to leak.

15. Seattle Seahawks

16. Indianapolis Colts

17. Cincinnati Bengals

18. Jacksonville Jaguars

19. Chicago Bears

20. New Orleans Saints

21. Tennessee Titans

22. Atlanta Falcons

23. New York Giants

24. Las Vegas Raiders

25. Minnesota Vikings

26. Denver Broncos

27. New York Jets

28. New England Patriots

29. Arizona Cardinals

30. Los Angeles Chargers

31. Carolina Panthers

32. Washington Commanders
