2024 NFL Power Rankings: Ranking All 32 Teams Heading into the Super Bowl

We're headed to Super Bowl LVIII in what should be an exciting rematch from the 2019-2020 Super Bowl between the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers.

The 49ers are listed as slight favorites with a little under two weeks to go before the big game. Should San Francisco rank No. 1 on our list? Find out below!

2024 NFL Power Rankings

1. San Francisco 49ers

The San Francisco 49ers are -1 against the Kansas City Chiefs for Super Bowl LVIII.

The 49ers were in danger of losing down multiple scores in the NFC Conference Championship. However, a second-half surge helped the 49ers escape the Lions after Detroit made some really questionable decisions in the second half.

Brock Purdy wasn't always consistent for the 49ers in the playoffs. But he made plays when he had to. Now, San Francisco is the betting favorite to win the Lombardi Trophy.

2. Kansas City Chiefs

The Chiefs were doubted all season long. The offense wasn't clicking like it used to, and the team lost some games in the regular season that were a bit deflating. But despite having to play two road games and a Wild Card game, the Chiefs still found a way into the Super Bowl.

They've made the Super Bowl in four of their last five seasons and will be looking for their third Super Bowl in five years.

3. Baltimore Ravens

In the AFC Championship Game, the Ravens avoided running the football against the Chiefs.

The offense looked out of sorts and didn't have a No. 2 wide receiver they could rely on.

Meanwhile, Zay Flowers, the rookie wide receiver, made some inferior decisions in the second half that ultimately cost the Ravens a trip to the Super Bowl.

The more experienced Chiefs outclassed Baltimore.

4. Detroit Lions

Meanwhile, Dan Campbell and the Lions made some questionable calls that ultimately gave the 49ers momentum to turn around the game in the second half.

The Lions just needed to be smart. Instead, up 14 points, Dan Campbell decided to go for a fourth and short conversion instead of kicking the field goal to make it a three-score game.

Later in the game, he tried to go for it on another fourth down and was denied. His decisions ultimately backfired and were among the many reasons for the downfall in the second half.

5. Buffalo Bills

The Bills didn't make it into the AFC Championship Game. However, they made sure to sign Joe Brady as the Offensive Coordinator moving forward. The interim tag was removed.

That will help Josh Allen take his game to the next level throughout the entire year next season.

6. Green Bay Packers

Green Bay saw significant growth in the second half from Jordan Love. Fans of the Packers are excited about the program's future, especially after Joe Barry was fired from his defensive coordinator position.

7. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

If the Buccaneers can retain Baker Mayfield, Mike Evans, and Antoine Winfield Jr., Tampa Bay will enjoy more success next season.

8. Houston Texans

Houston has a lot of potential moving forward with C.J. Stroud running the show. They'll have a healthy wide receiver core, and with a more reliable running back and offensive line, the Texans will be a tough out next season.

9. Dallas Cowboys

10. Miami Dolphins

11. Los Angeles Rams

12. Cleveland Browns

13. Pittsburgh Steelers

14. Philadelphia Eagles

15. Seattle Seahawks

16. Indianapolis Colts

17. Cincinnati Bengals

18. Jacksonville Jaguars

19. Chicago Bears

20. New Orleans Saints

21. Tennessee Titans

22. Atlanta Falcons

The Falcons brought in Raheem Morris to be their next head coach. Once this was announced, many players and coaches raced to social media to show their appreciation for Morris and share how good of a coach he is.

This sounds like an excellent hire for an Atlanta team that can instantly compete for a Super Bowl.

23. New York Giants

24. Las Vegas Raiders

The Raiders held on to Antonio Pierce and removed his interim tag to be the team's next head coach.

The players responded well with Pierce. Now, he gets to build out his roster of players and coaches how he wants.

25. Minnesota Vikings

26. Denver Broncos

27. New York Jets

28. New England Patriots

It's a new era in New England. Jerod Mayo is the new head coach for the Patriots, taking over Bill Belichick in a clear rebuild scenario for New England.

29. Arizona Cardinals

30. Los Angeles Chargers

31. Carolina Panthers

The Panthers went with an outside-of-the-box head coach in Dave Canales. But anyone who has worked with him has said good things. He transformed a Tampa Bay offense and pushed them deep into the playoffs this season.

He'll be a good fit for Bryce Young and that Panthers offense.
