Super Bowl media week is underway, meaning we're just a few days away from watching Super Bowl LVIII at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Two of the best teams in the NFL are set to play for the first time this season, although it's a rematch from Super Bowl LIV. This time, the Chiefs are the underdog, while the San Francisco 49ers' loaded West Coast offense, led by quarterback Brock Purdy, will attempt to finally hoist the Lombardi Trophy for the first time since head coach Kyle Shanahan arrived in San Francisco back in 2017.
In this article, we'll review the current Super Bowl LVIII odds available to wager at Caesars Sportsbook, focusing primarily on the point spread, moneyline, and point total odds. Let's find out which lines are the most profitable to wager and which ones to avoid ahead of Sunday's kickoff.
CAESARS SUPER BOWL ODDS
Caesars Sportsbook currently has the 49ers favored to win outright as a marginal favorite, laying two points on the spread. This means bettors who wager the spread could wind up with a push if San Francisco wins by exactly two points, which is obviously more appealing than an outright loss on a hook, such as 2.5 or 3.5.
Compared to other sportsbooks, like DraftKings, which we previously reviewed, the spread remains -2 in favor of the 49ers, but Caesars has -110 odds on both lines. Compare this to San Francisco at -2 with -105 odds at DraftKings, and bettors are paying a bit more juice at Caesars Sportsbook, while the Chiefs are slightly more profitable at +2 with -110 odds instead of -115 odds that we saw at DraftKings.
The moneyline and point total odds are similar to other sportsbooks at Caesars, with +110 odds for the Chiefs and -130 odds for the 49ers. There's also more value on taking Kansas City on Caesars at +110 moneyline odds instead of +105 which was the previous number available at DraftKings. The point total line has remained at 47.5, but at Caesars, oddsmakers give bettors an even -110 odds on either side.

CAESARS SUPER BOWL SPREAD
Kansas City Chiefs | San Francisco 49ers |
|---|---|
+2 (-110) | -2 (-110) |
The Chiefs at +2 on the point spread indicates oddsmakers expect a tight matchup throughout Super Bowl LVIII. Laying -2 with the 49ers may seem like a good idea, since they have the better offense, but discounting Patrick Mahomes, the reigning Super Bowl MVP, seems like a bad idea. The 49ers haven't covered as favorites against AFC West opponents in several previous matchups, plus the Chiefs have covered the spread in eight of their past nine games against teams above .500.
CAESARS SUPER BOWL MONEYLINE ODDS
Kansas City Chiefs | San Francisco 49ers |
|---|---|
+110 | -130 |
Bettors interested in taking the Chiefs to cover at +2 on the point spread means investing in their moneyline odds at +110 odds also deserves an investment. Mahomes and the Chiefs have won six straight games as underdogs, including in consecutive AFC playoff road games against Buffalo and Baltimore. The 49ers, conversely, had to mount fourth quarter comebacks against the Packers and Lions to pull off the outright win. +110 is a lot more appealing than -110 attached to the Chiefs' +2 point spread, while bettors siding with San Francisco will have to pay a premium on the -130 moneyline odds compared to -110 odds at -2.
CAESARS SUPER BOWL TOTAL
Over | Under |
|---|---|
47.5 (-110) | 47.5 (-110) |
The point total has stayed at 47.5 for a few days across multiple sportsbooks, including at Caesars Sportsbook. Kansas City has cashed unders left and right this season, going 14-6 toward the point total under. San Francisco is 11-8 toward the over, fresh off of a 34-31 win against Detroit. The Lions pass defense was a liability, but their run defense also faltered.
Kansas City and San Francisco both have sub-par run defenses at the moment. Whether it's due to injuries or schematics, Christian McCaffrey and Isiah Pacheco should both churn out production to move the chains. Mahomes isn't afraid to sling the ball aggressively downfield, finding Travis Kelce and Rashee Rice as his favorite weapons in the passing game. The 49ers haven't exactly been a lockdown defense, but Nick Bosa and Chase Young have wrecked havoc off the edge.
This line feels exactly right, but with the half point involved, we need to pick a side. Bettors favoring the under will likely expect the Chiefs to control the game with their elite pass defense and a heavy dose of Pacheco in the run game. Over bettors will likely be backing the 49ers to win outright, as San Francisco's West Coast offense, filled with talent and depth, can force the Chiefs to play catch-up.
