FanDuel Super Bowl Odds

TeamSpreadMoneylineTotal
San Francisco 49ers-1.5 (-115)-130O 47.5 (-110)
Kansas City Chiefs+1.5 (-105)+110U 47.5 (-110)

The Chiefs have covered the spread in eight of their last nine games against teams with a winning record. Kansas City has also won three consecutive head-to-head matchups against San Francisco, which bodes well for their moneyline value at plus odds. The 49ers have also failed to cover the spread against AFC West opponents in six straight appearances.

The 49ers had to mount two late game comebacks against the Green Bay Packers and Detroit Lions to emerge victorious, but they weren't facing the two-time NFL and Super Bowl MVP, Patrick Mahomes. As underdogs, the Chiefs have won six straight games, using this as fuel to continue earning wins, which came on the road against Buffalo and Baltimore during the 2023 playoffs.

The point total is set to 47.5, which has hardly moved since it opened. There was a brief time when it went down to an even 47, however, it's since climbed back to 47.5. Kansas City is one of the best teams for the point total under, going 14-6 this season. Conversely, San Francisco is 11-8 in favor of the point total over, so it's going to be interesting to see how the final score plays out on Sunday. It's important to note that 11 of the last 14 playoff games San Francisco has played in have wound up going under the point total line.
