2025 NFL Schedules: Who Has The Easiest & Toughest Schedules in 2025?

The NFL has a lot of buzz after the 2025 schedules were finally released.

While many teams will surprise this season, it's still exciting to break down the schedules and find the teams with the easiest and hardest schedules entering the 2025 season.

Below, I'll discuss the top two teams with the easiest schedules and those with the most demanding schedules in 2025.

After all, September 4 will be here in the blink of an eye!

2025 NFL Easiest Schedules

San Francisco 49ers

The San Francisco 49ers weren't so great themselves last season. However, they've got a quality draw entering the 2025 season.

The 49ers will face opponents that had a combined win percentage of .415 last year.

San Francisco will likely be the favorites in their first four games, including Week 1 against the Seahawks on the road. They can easily build some early momentum, which would include two conference wins in the first four games.

There's also a stretch where the 49ers play the Panthers, Browns, a bye week, the Titans, Colts, and Bears from Week 12 to Week 17.

Expectations are that the 49ers will improve from last year's struggles. In addition, they've got one of the easiest schedules. That should help.

New England Patriots

The New England Patriots are changing their culture after signing Mike Vrabel as their new head football coach.

Vrabel has a winning record as an NFL head coach and even won the AP NFL Coach of the Year award in 2021.

In addition, Drake Maye will begin the season as New England's starter. He showed signs of growth last season, leaving no doubt that he'll be the starting quarterback this season.

Don't be surprised if the Patriots start the season red-hot and win four consecutive games. To begin the year, they will face Las Vegas, Miami, Pittsburgh, and Carolina. These are all winnable games, and they could put the Patriots in a position to compete for the AFC East with the Buffalo Bills.

2025 NFL Hardest Schedules

New York Giants

The New York Giants got the worst draw in the NFL. They're facing opponents with a combined 2024 win percentage of .574. They're playing ten teams that made the playoffs last year.

This is terrible news, especially since Brian Daboll likely needs to start winning or he'll be fired along with general manager Joe Schoen.

That said, the Giants' ownership seems to let these two stay for a little longer. They just drafted Jaxson Dart and probably shouldn't be punished until we see how that Dart trade plays out over the next couple of years.

Either way, Russell Wilson and the Giants have much on their plate. The playoffs for the G-Men are probably unlikely this year.

Chicago Bears

The Chicago Bears are in a new era with Ben Johnson as head coach and Caleb Williams under center. But this marriage might not go as planned in Year 1 for Johnson.

The Bears could still end up last in the NFC North. After all, the Lions, Vikings, and Packers all finished with at least 11 wins last season. None of these teams will be easy to beat this year, either.

If the Bears can't beat their division, they're not going to be making any noise this season.
