Through two weeks, so many top-tier players have been injured and ruled out for several weeks.
Chances are you had one or two of those players and are looking to make deals to stay afloat.
Here are 12 buy-low and sell-high trade options heading into Week 3.
Fantasy Football Players to Buy Low in Week 3
Ja'Marr Chase, WR, Cincinnati Bengals
It's been a frustrating two weeks for the Cincinnati Bengals.
They've started the season 0-2, lost Tee Higgins for a couple of games, and never gave Ja'Marr Chase a contract extension.
But despite all the chaos around the franchise, the Bengals typically start seasons weak and then turn it on late.
Don't lose hope in Ja'Marr Chase. Once Higgins is back, Chase will be dominant.
Brandon Aiyuk, WR, San Francisco 49ers
Unlike Chase, Aiyuk got his contract extension with the 49ers. However, it came at the cost of not getting many practice reps.
But with Christian McCaffrey and Deebo Samuel now injured and out for multiple games, Aiyuk is expected to step up.
Mark Andrews, TE, Baltimore Ravens
After Week 1, many fantasy owners panicked over Andrews getting replaced by Isaiah Likely.
But in Week 2, Andrews produced way more. He added four receptions for 51 yards and had more targets and receptions than LIkely.
Jalen Tolbert, WR, Dallas Cowboys
I don't want to overreact to one game, but Jalen Tolbert recorded six receptions on nine targets for 82 yards. He didn't score a touchdown or anything, but he quickly became a favorite target for Dak Prescott last weekend.
It's unlikely the Cowboys will find themselves trailing so early most weeks. But Tolbert earned some trust from Prescott with his six reception performances. He will overtake Brandin Cooks in the long run.
Additional Fantasy Football Buy Low Players
- Demarcus Robinson, WR, Los Angeles Rams
- Joe Burrow, QB, Cincinnati Bengals
Fantasy Football Players to Sell High Before Week 2
Zamir White, RB, Las Vegas Raiders
Zamir White led the Raiders with nine carries for 24 yards in Week 2 against the Ravens. Ultimately, the Raiders relied on Gardner Minshew in the comeback win.
But since White had more carries than Mattison, you might be able to convince a competitor that White still has some value as the No. 1 running back,
Because eventually, Alexander Mattison will be the No. 1 guy.
Rachaad White, RB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Rachaad White is losing some playing time to Bucky Irving.
For one, White has a groin injury heading into Week 3. Secondly, he rushed for below two yards a carry last weekend against the Lions. Irving didn't necessarily outshine White, but he's been slightly more efficient and will continue to earn more playing time as the season progresses.
Jerome Ford, RB, Cleveland Browns
Jerome Ford saw only seven carries in the win against the Jaguars last week. While he added a 36-yard rush, D'Onta Foreman saw 14 carries in the game.
Eventually, we won't discuss Ford or Foreman when Nick Chubb returns. But you can get rid of Ford while he still has some value.
Travis Kelce, TE, Kansas City Chiefs
Through two games, Travis Kelce has four catches for 39 yards.
Nobody expected this kind of drop-off. But let's not forget, he's 34 years old and has a lot going on in his life now.
Kelce will have a couple of typical monster games, but the lack of consistency will not work.
Additional Fantasy Football Sell High Players
- Justice Hill, WR, Dallas Cowboys
- Devin Singletary, RB, New York Giants
