NFL Power Rankings: Ranking the Top 10 Teams Heading into Week 3
After two weeks of the NFL season, it is time for my first Top 10 Power Rankings.
There were a ton of upsets this past week so some surprise teams are shooting up the latest NFL power rankings. As we head into Week 3, these are my top-ten teams.

Week 3 NFL Power Rankings
1. Kansas City Chiefs (2-0)
The Chiefs come into the year looking to become the first team in NFL history to win three consecutive Super Bowls.
KC picked up a massive win in week one against the Baltimore Ravens and followed that up with a win on a game-winning field goal against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Patrick Mahomes and company will meet the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday Night Football in Week 3.
2. Houston Texans (2-0)
The Texans picked up a big win on Sunday Night Football in Week 2 against the Chicago Bears.
CJ Stroud leads one of the best offenses in the NFL and has paired it with a top-ten defense.
Houston takes on the Vikings this week in what should be a great matchup.
3. New Orleans Saints (2-0)
After two weeks, New Orleans has been the most impressive team in the NFC.
The Saints have dominated on both sides of the ball. New Orleans has outscored their opponents 91-29 over the first two weeks.
New Orleans will host the Philadelphia Eagles this weekend.
4. Buffalo Bills (2-0)
Buffalo appears to be a Super Bowl-caliber team through the first two weeks of the season with wins over the Cardinals and Dolphins so far
With Josh Allen at the helm, Buffalo will have one of the top offensive units in football and their defense did a great job shutting down one of the best offenses in the NFL this past week.
The Bills will host the Jacksonville Jaguars on Monday Night.
5. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2-0)
After being a surprise playoff team last season, Tampa is on the radar of all teams this season.
Baker Mayfield has found a home in Tampa Bay, leading the team to 57 points over their first two weeks.
Baker's resurgence is one of the best stories in football and after a win on the road in Detroit, the Bucs seem like they're the real deal with him at the helm.
6. Los Angeles Chargers (2-0)
Head Coach Jim Harbaugh has breathed new life into this franchise.
The Chargers are off to a hot 2-0 start and appear to have a roster good enough to compete for the playoffs. Do they have the weapons around Justin Herbert to make deep playoff runs? That remains to be seen, but the improvement is impossible to deny.
Los Angeles will clash with the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday.
7. Minnesota Vikings (2-0)
Entering the season, many people thought that the Vikings would be among the NFL's worst teams.
After two weeks, Kevin O'Connell's team appears to be better than expected.
Sam Darnold is experiencing a career resurgence in Purple and Gold and looks to be rounding into the QB he was drafted to be all those years ago.
The Vikings will host the Houston Texans this weekend.
8. Seattle Seahawks (2-0)
The Seahawks have impressed after two weeks but will they continue to ride high as the season goes on?
Seattle picked up a crucial road win last weekend in overtime against the New England Patriots. The Pats were fresh off an upset win over the Bengals but were no match for Geno Smith.
Mike Macdonald's squad will host the Miami Dolphins this weekend.
9. Pittsburgh Steelers (2-0)
Mike Tomlins's team continues to play above their ability and it's been extremely entertaining to watch so far.
The Steelers' defense is once again one of the best in football, allowing just 18 points over the first two weeks.
Pittsburgh will host the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday afternoon.
10.San Fransisco 49ers (1-1)
The Niners are coming off a bad loss in Week 2 against the Minnesota Vikings.
San Fran won their Week 1 matchup against the Jets, and they are the best one-loss team in the NFL.
San Fran will meet the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday.
