DraftKings King of the End Zone: Win up to $2 Million on NFL Wild Card Sunday

NFL Wild Card Weekend is already underway and two teams have been eliminated. Yesterday, Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens beat the Pittsburgh Steelers, while C.J. Stroud and the Houston Texans took care of the LA Chargers.

On Sunday, we will see three matchups: the Buffalo Bills and the Denver Broncos kicking things off! The Philadelphia Eagles will then host the Green Bay Packers before the Tampa Bay Buccaneers take on the Washington Commanders.

These are three very exciting games on NFL Sunday but with DraftKings Sportsbook you can crank things up a notch, as you can play for $2 million thanks to the new DraftKings King of the End Zone promotion.

With the King of the End Zone promotion, new and existing users can win a share of $2 million, just by opting in and placing a qualifying bet on any NFL Touchdown prop market. This means a bet on First Touchdown, Anytime Touchdown, or To Score 2+ Touchdowns will lock in your entry.

To win, your chosen player will need to score the longest touchdown of the game. Think Kamren Kinchens 103-yard touchdown for the Rams or Marvin Mims' 93-yard catch-and-run touchdown.

Yesterday, it was Ladd McConkey who was King of the End Zone, with his 86-yard touchdown against the Houston Texans, but who will claim the throne today?

How to Take Part in the DraftKings King of the End Zone on Sunday

There are three games on the NFL Wild Card on Sunday, which means there are three games for you to consider, along with a whole host of touchdown scorers. Who will take the longest route to the End Zone today, and help you win a share of $2 million?

Follow these steps below to qualify for the DraftKings King of the End Zone promotion and for your chance to win $2 million on NFL Sunday.

Step 1: CLICK HERE to log in or sign up for a DraftKings Sportsbook account - if you are a new user, you can take advantage of the bet $5, get $200 instantly promotion first.

Step 2: Head to the 'Promos' section on site and then navigate to the Sunday King of the End Zone promo - this will change each game day.

Step 3: Following opt-in, you'll be issued one single-use Qualifying Bet Token that works on any NFL Touchdown Prop on 1/11 under "TD Scorer" (First TD Scorer, Anytime TD Scorer, 2+ TDs)

Step 4: Place a $5+ bet on one of the qualifying TD Scorer markets

Step 5: If the player in your qualifying bet scores the longest touchdown of the day, you'll win a share of $2,000,000 in Bonus Bets

Yesterday, Ladd McConkey was the King of the End Zone, if you placed a bet on him to score a touchdown, either as a single bet, or in a parlay (up to 3 legs), you won a cool share of the $2 million bonus.

Can You Bet on More than One Touchdown Scorer for the DraftKings King of the End Zone Promo?

Yes! You can either put together a traditional two-leg touchdown parlay, which would include anytime, first touchdown, or 2+ touchdown scorers across multiple games, or you can pick up to three players, with a Same Game Parlay.

This for example means you could bet $5 on up to three different scorers, and get paid out as the King of the End Zone if any one of them records the longest touchdown.

How Long Does a Touchdown Need to Be to Qualify for the DraftKings King of the End Zone

There is no set yardage that needs to be hit to qualify for the King of the End Zone promo, your chosen touchdown scorer just needs to record the longest. To give you an idea of how long a touchdown needs to be the King of the End Zone, let's look at some examples.

In the Regular Season, Patrick Surtain II returned an interception for a 100-yard pick-six for the Broncos, which was the third-longest touchdown of the season. Kamren Kinchens (103 yards) and Rayshawn Jenkins (102 yards) both eclipsed 100 yards on their respective pick-sixes.

In terms of receivers, you are generally looking at kick off returns for the most likely way to get to 90 yards+, but Justin Jefferson did score a 97-yard touchdown earlier in the season.

This means D/ST have a great chance of being King of the End Zone due to the nature of the touchdowns they score, and that looked to be the case again yesterday. The Texans blocked the Chargers Extra Point Kick and Danielle Hunter returned it for an 86-yard score.

We would advise backing the receivers who have potential for big yards after the catch, as well as looking at any returners who you think could get in on the action on NFL Wild Card Sunday.

Potential DraftKings King of the End Zone Bets, Targets for NFL Wild Card Sunday

Here are a couple of players we think present value for the King of the End Zone promotion:

Marvin Mims (+225 Anytime Touchdown Scorer, +2000 First Touchdown Scorer)

Earlier this season Bo Nix and Marvin Mims connected for a 93-yard touchdown against the Cleveland Browns. Mims hasn't hit anything like this number since, but he has regularly found yards after the catch.

As someone who has been targeted at least four times in each of his past six games, it is hard to ignore someone with such big play ability.

Mims is averaging over 59 yards after the catch per game, showing his ability to catch and run, extending his chances of not only getting into the End Zone but of being King of the End Zone as well.

Mims scored 2 touchdowns against the Bengals and 2 against the Chiefs in his past two games, showing his ability to make big plays.

A.J. Brown (+135 Anytime Touchdown Scorer, +900 First Touchdown Scorer)

A.J. Brown has scored a touchdown in each of his last three games, and when he last played the Green Bay Packers, he scored a 67-yard touchdown against them.

This sort of score will likely be good enough to put him in the mix for the King of the End Zone title tonight, and although it's hard to say it will guarantee you a shot at the $2 million bonus bets, it is at least a combination of a very likely touchdown scorer and someone who can make a big play.

Terry McLaurin (+120 Anytime Touchdown Scorer, +1000 First Touchdown Scorer)

The Commanders are underdogs on the road, but they have every chance of scoring an upset in this one, and Jayden Daniels' most reliable target is Terry McLaurin.

This season their stat wideout has made 12 big plays (plays of 20+ receiving yards) and he scored an 86-yard touchdown against the Dallas Cowboys. A play like that will put Scary Terry bang in contention for King of the End Zone and gives you a shot at winning big.
