2026 Super Bowl Odds: Top Contenders

10. Los Angeles Chargers (+3000)

The Los Angeles Chargers have taken over the 10th spot after the Rams fell back from +2500 to +3300 when the odds came out. That is partially on the news of Cooper Kupp getting put on the trade block, and any further implications that could represent for the organization in this offseason of uncertainty. Meanwhile, the Chargers have bumped themselves up a bit after a great first year from Jim Harbaugh. His connection with Justin Herbert is strong, and the rushing attack + defense impressed. They desperately need to add some talented receivers in the offseason to help Herbert out, but the formula is in place for the Chargers to make another playoff run.

9. Green Bay Packers (+2500)

The Green Bay Packers showed great promise at times in 2024, but ultimately couldn't win the big games. They were overwhelmed in division play, going 1-5 and winless against the Lions and Vikings. While still making the playoffs as a wild card, Jordan Love and the Pack were no match for Philly in their rematch. The Packers are currently one of the best of the rest, but aren't a top squad that can out-duel some of the best groups on here. They are close by though, and with a few improvements, they can make some playoff noise in 2026.

8. Cincinnati Bengals (+2400)

The Cincinnati Bengals are a team to watch here at +2400, and came on as one of the strongest finishers in 2024. They fell just short of the playoffs after crawling out of a 1-4 hole, with Joe Burrow winning Comeback Player of the Year and delivering MVP-caliber numbers. The Bengals were an offensive superpower down the stretch, they just couldn't stop anyone. In comes Al Golden, former Miami head coach and most recent Notre Dame defensive coordinator, to save the day. Golden was hired last month to run this defense, and if he can get it anywhere close to the way Notre Dame played en route to a National Championship appearance, the Bengals will be a team to worry about.

7. Washington Commanders (+2000)

The Commanders came flying in to the Super Bowl conversation with a miracle run to the NFC Championship, but it won't last. Jayden Daniels had an incredible season for a rookie, and a lot of things went right for this team to advance. When more teams get tape on him, the explosive nature of the offense will be reduced down a bit. We don't think he'll have a fall off like C.J. Stroud did for part of his sophomore season, but it will certainly be noticeable. This is the NFL, not college, and many coordinators will figure Daniels out. The Commanders could be a playoff team again if coached properly by Dan Quinn, but they will not come near the Super Bowl.

6. San Francisco 49ers (+1700)

The 49ers have bumped up to the sixth spot at +1700, after debuting at +2000 a few weeks back. They leaped over the Commanders, who's Cinderella run ended in the NFC Championship with a blowout loss to the Eagles. The 49ers certainly had a fall off in 2024, coming no where near their run to the title from a year ago. But they had simply too many injuries to overcome. It wasn't just a Super Bowl hangover, there were a lot of obstacles in play from Christian McCaffrey, to Bosa, to Purdy, to Deebo and Aiyuk, to Trent Williams, and more. They will need this offseason to rest up and heal, and hopefully put their best foot forward at the start of 2025. Kyle Shanahan will have these guys playing again, and 2024 will be a distant memory. +1700 odds isn't that bad of an option here for a bit of a longshot on a talented team.

5. Detroit Lions (+1100)

The line is drawn here after the Lions, between the top four teams, and the best of the rest. Detroit just lost their two star coordinators, with DC Aaron Glenn going to the Jets and OC Ben Johnson to the Bears. They were two of the best minds in the game and highly sought after, earning the jobs they waited patiently for. As for the Lions, well, they are in trouble. You can say they have plenty of their stars back, but they were buoyed by the play-calling of those coordinators on both sides. The next man up is not going to get the same results from Jared Goff as Ben Johnson did, and Dan Campbell will be somewhat exposed as carried by his coordinators.

Campbell is a great motivator, but he can't lead this team to the Super Bowl without the other coaches. The Lions have a tremendously difficult road schedule next year, and could even struggle to find a playoff spot when all is said and done. This won't be the same high-flying team you watched in 2024, so avoid these odds at all costs. It has already fallen from +900 to +1100 over the last two weeks, and will continue to get worse.

4. Buffalo Bills (+800)

The Bills were right in the mix, seemingly the way they are ever year, before losing for a fourth-consecutive time to the Chiefs in the playoffs. Much like the Ravens, it seems like a hump that they just can't seem to get over. They weren't as talented all-around as the Chiefs or Ravens this year, but Josh Allen carried this team as far as it could go. They will improve and be back for another quest, rounding out this group of four super contenders, while the rest of these teams are not quite on their level.

3. Kansas City Chiefs (+750)

The Chiefs were completely embarrassed in Super Bowl 59 last night, and will have a long time to think about what went wrong. They appeared too caught up in the three-peat narrative, and completely forgot to show up in New Orleans. While KC has had plenty of slow starts during their dynasty, no one thought it would happen like that, with a total blowout from start to finish. Mahomes and co. will obviously be back in the hunt again next year, but will need to bolster their receiving core, offensive line, and a few other areas if they want to get revenge against a squad like the Eagles.

2. Baltimore Ravens (+700)

The Ravens have held strong at +700 over the last few weeks, and certainly feel like they would have put up a better fight than KC did last night. While we think they would've won the AFC Championship a few weeks ago had they made it, too many miscues up in Buffalo prevented them from having a chance. It has been a constant theme for Lamar Jackson and Baltimore over the last few years, and they'll have to finally step up in the playoffs next year if they want to get over the hump. They certainly have all of the pieces required to do so.

1. Philadelphia Eagles (+650)

The Eagles just had their way with the Chiefs on national television last night, blowing them out of the water in Super Bowl 59. They dominated on both sides of the ball, with the defense coming up big early, and the offense punching it in repeatedly. As a result, they were awarded with a boost to the top of the Super Bowl 60 odds. Philly climbed from +800 to +650 overnight, and for good reason. They have a solid young core, an outstanding talent grouping on defense, and should have the majority of their stars back for another run next year. This Philly squad isn't going anywhere.
