With the NFL Draft just one day away, it’s time to discuss the AFC East.
My apologies — my fingers slipped; I meant to say the AFC Least. This group of teams has some of the most loyal fan bases in the NFL, yet in recent years, each team has endured disappointing seasons repeatedly. The Bills have been the only team to provide some hope to their fans, but they just can't seem to deliver when it matters most.
Before we start with the Bills. I have a question for you:
Do you think Coach McDermott should still be coaching the Bills after his performance in the AFC Championship game?

The Bills secured another first-place finish in their division for the 2024 season. However, when it comes to the playoffs, one term sums up this team: RUFF BUFF!
Unfortunately, they fell short once again against #15, who led the Chiefs to the Super Bowl. As long as Josh Allen continues to excel in the league, he will always give this team a chance. Although a rebuild isn't on the horizon just yet, the championship window isn't wide open either.
Several positions are in need for the Bills. However the offense seems intact as long as Allen is healthy. Coach McDermott will want to focus on aiding the defense.
Derrick Harmon, DT, Oregon possess a high motor. He loves to disrupt the o-line with his athleticism and quick as a hiccup first step. Harmon can be effective as a rusher and plug capable of stopping the run game.

Wow, it didn't take long for the NFL to figure out this offense, which was previously led by Coach Mike McDaniel and took the league by storm just a couple of years ago. This offense was electrifying, but by 2024, it had bottomed out, leaving many questions in its wake.
During the NFL Annual Meetings, McDaniel provided his usual quirky responses to inquiries about the team's draft needs and specifically addressed Tyreek Hill's recent post on Twitter/X. In the post, Hill displayed two fingers in a "peace" sign, raising questions about his future in Miami. At oddschecker, we're here to provide you with some insights into what the Dolphins might be considering for the upcoming draft.
As bad as the offense was last year. The defense was a top-10 unit and has a star in the making in Chop Robinson and after the loss of Calais Campbell to the Cardinals. Defensive Lineman Kenneth Grant makes sense here. Now the Dolphins can have two high-motor defensive lineman. Grant also contains high-powered attacks that translate well in the NFL.

Twenty-one players jetted off to different teams this offseason after two years of enduring the disaster of future hall-of-fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers and him leading the Jets to a 5-12 season in 2024. “Rebuild” is the word of the 2025 season and phasing out mediocrity should be on the top of new head coach Aaron Glenn’s mind.
Making a small investment in Justin Fields recently was a crucial move for Glenn in his early tenure. Previously, Glenn was running the defense in Detroit, and one lesson he likely learned there is the importance of having a strong offensive line. Building a solid foundation for Fields is essential to help him withstand the pressures from opposing defenses.
At 324 pounds, can someone have quick feet? Armand Membou, an offensive tackle from Missouri, certainly does. He possesses strong hands, great flexibility, and said feet of quickness — key attributes that make for a reliable offensive lineman and a solid anchor for the offense.

As a Raiders fan, my disdain for the Patriots has been strong for decades, largely due to that infamous fumble!
Anyway, the firing of one-and-done coach Jerod Mayo can only be described as egregious. However, when a big-name candidate becomes available, it makes sense to pursue them, right? Plus, it's somewhat of a homecoming for Mike Vrabel. In free agency, the Patriots made several significant moves to primarily strengthen their defense, which I know Vrabel will want to prioritize.
At the fourth spot in the first round, you are likely to have a standout player on your hands, and taking a risk is always a good strategy when you're ahead. Another wise choice would be to draft Abdul Carter, who could strengthen this already improving defense if he falls. We've discussed Carter before, and now that his foot injury is behind him it seems, he offers the elite speed and power that Mike Vrabel seeks for the defensive line.
